Seemed good at first
April 4, 2023The pros: The maintenance staff and the janitors are the only pluses of this this apartment complex. They are quick to respond, are extremely nice, and keep the property very clean and well maintained. The cons: There is no guest parking outside of about five spots only available from 6pm to 8am. Guests are advised to park in front of the houses across the street which is always full. There floors between rooms are so thin you can hear everything your upstairs neighbor is doing. Sound also ...travels from the courtyard to the rooms even when your windows are closed. Other residents do not clean up after their pets and let them go to the restroom in the hallways and in the garage. While the inside of the apartments initially seemed very nice, over time we noticed issues such as uneven floors, uneven paint jobs, and loud and cheap appliances. Calls to the office/front desk go to an offsite location which can make it difficult to speak with those at the office on site. The charge way more for additional parking, garbage, and sewage than what is average in the area.Property Manager Responded

Great Property, Terrible Management
July 24, 2021Amazing building with great amenities. Too bad you can’t enjoy living there since the floors are so thin between units. 3 years of no problems and then a new upstairs neighbor moves in, runs, jumps, throws stuff at the floor daily. Office is rude about complaints that I make, they dismiss them and say they can not do anything because it is not violation of lease. I have had to leave my apartment to do zoom calls in peace, because the other party can hear the noises through the call. I have rented ...hotel rooms at my personal cost as to get a full night of sleep. Do not deal with the office here. Maybe Greystar should not be managing this nice buildingProperty Manager Responded

June 11, 2021Just like any apartment complex, its only as good as its management team. Alder was a great place to live when I first signed my lease, but I feel it definitely changed once new management took over sometime last year. I loved the complex, but almost left until I saw that new people were hired back in May. I renewed in the hopes that things will change, but currently theyre still the same. This is strictly in the area of how the complex operates. This is excluding the usual pains that come with ...living in an apartment (noisy neighbors, pets, etc.).Property Manager Responded
