The building is clean, modern, and well maintained, and the location is super convenient—close to Lake Merritt, great food, and transit. The heated pool and hot tub are awesome year-round, and the BBQ area is a great bonus. Management and maintenance have been responsive whenever I’ve needed help. There has been a nonchalant attitude towards the concerns I addressed with her prior to moving in and after. The management is responsive and genuinely helpful, and maintenance requests are handled quickly. The apartments themselves are spacious, clean, and well-designed, with modern amenities that make daily life comfortable. The community is friendly, safe, and well-kept, with beautiful common areas that make it a joy to ...come home. It smells great and has a pool and hot tub. August 4, 2025Cool, Calm, Collected I lived at the Alexan for 15 months and have no complaints of my own. There was some ruckus with the fire alarms randomly going ofd but overall no real issues. My experience/interactions with the leasing agents were always pleasant. Angel, specially was always kind and willing to help. The amenities are great and I made sure to use them. I am not a dog person so issues with tenants not cleaning up after their dogs pissed me off but I guess some people don’t know about ...cleanliness. Overall, I had a swell time here and the leasing team was always super helpful. Remember to lead with kindness and you will always be met with kindness as well.
