First of all, there is a pest control problem with tree roaches specifically! I have found that keeping my apartment cold helps combat the problem but does not completely prevent it. Secondly, and perhaps more importantly, they have started allowing residents with HUGE dogs to live on higher floors!! And said residents run around in the apartments day and night instead of using the dog park that ALL residents pay to have well-maintained on this property. I have complained about it in the past, ...
but nothing was done. Not even a simple reminder to use the amenities. It is so bad that you not only hear neighbors above you running around with Rottweilers, but also the residents above the neighbors on either side of you running around with big dogs! It would not surprise me if someone fell through the floor into someone's living space. Sadly, it may be just the thing needed to put another ordinance in place that is not limited to loud stereos and televisions coming through paper-thin walls. Just make sure you can afford to live on the top floor and run amok. One more thing: the trash chutes are always spilling over and stinking up the hallways!

Worst management.

Once you move in you are toast. Absolutely do not move here. All neighbors around you will be heard day and night. Inside your appartment if anything breaks down, good luck dealing with management. They are not concerned or care. Looks nice on the outside, thin insulation otherwise. The noise level here is the highest i ever experienced. Stay sane, stay away.

Great Area - Good Amenities

Recently hired new staff that have done a better job of keeping the place clean and putting together more community events. It's a small community that has good common areas. Hired security for the parking garage. The pool is small and there are limited areas to get sun since it is in the middle of the complex surrounded by 3 floors. Great location for Galleria, Rice Village, Upper Kirby, etc.

A Cosmopolitan Place in West U

My wife and I moved into the Allusion this Summer and could not be happier. They have basically at the amenities we would need (and then some), and the management is very diligent about keeping everything up and running. The management has always been kind to us, and worked quickly to serve us when we were still in the apartment hunting phase. Our apartment itself is fantastic. Houston for a reasonable price. Our friends love coming over to see it! The space has a great layout, especially when having friends over. Very clean, great furnishing. Like any apartment, you will be able to hear every now and again your neighbors moving around upstairs, but it's never to such an extent that it would be truly annoying. Some people can be very picky about this though, so I can't say everyone would feel the same. I can say though that I've never heard anything beyond some footsteps. The surrounding area is great too. We're still in West U, properly speaking, which is great, and we're right next to a shopping center. We're also not too far from I-59, so it's easy to move around. Overall, I couldn't recommend this place enough.
