June 4, 2025On Tuesday May 27th 2025 I had a phone call with the property manager regarding a adjustment to the working AC unit in my unit. I have a dog and made it clear that I needed to have one evenings heads up to section him off from the utility closet so that they can enter on work and that regardless of the scenario I needed this time. Scott PROMISED that would ALWAYS be the case and they would never enter the premise for non-emergency situations without 24 hour notice. After returning from work ...Thursday May 29th 2025 I had two emails and a voice mail sent that afternoon. The first email stated they wanted to enter. The second email stated that they entered and preformed the maintenance. All within an 8 hour time frame. The entire office defends the action stating that the lease give managers freedom to access at their discretion, regardless of the reason. They maintain the view point that they are given the power for 24/7, 365 days a year access to your place without warning and without reason. They do not respect or believe you have any right to privacy after signing the lease. Scott lied to my face and went against his word at the earliest convenience to him. Your rights are more important the the liability and risk that this management team will expose you to. Any discussion that I have had has only led to a defense of the actions as if tenant rights to privacy and the 4th amendment to the constitution to protections against unwarranted search and seizure of your premise are both non-existent and get superseded by the lease agreement. DO NOT SIGN A LEASE HERE!Property Manager Responded
