Welcome to Altamira Place Apartment Homes, the best blend of luxury and convenience in the Altamonte Springs area of Orlando. Our quiet community is approximately one mile from I-4. You'll be within walking distance of Uptowne Altamonte and Cranes Roost Park, Altamonte Mall theatres, restaurants, and entertainment. Several prestigious schools of Seminole County are near, including Altamonte Elementary, Milwee Middle School and Lyman High School. September 11, 2024Great location and that's it!!! Poorly kept old apartments. Pot smoke everywhere including getting inside your apartment. Poorly manicured grounds and trash everywhere. Pool is frequently closed and the front gate is always broken.Property Manager Responded

Horrendous to deal with.
December 13, 2023I had to go back and forth for weeks, submit a 7 day notice, continually go into a leasing office that is not on the property I even live at, get ignored via emails and calls, told that I just do not understand a process I know full well, and only after having to contact every single number and email I had to borderline harass to obtain, have they even begun to fix the smaller issues of the apartment. All because they do not fix things properly, do not care when things are broken even before you ...move in, would not even check the MOLD they painted over after it started depositing spores on my things. Found when I had only been here about a month and a half, so most definitely not from me. They will try out every single loophole in the book and unless you are well acquainted with building inspectors, mold assessors, pest management, and tenant lawyers, you will be put through the wringer. Not to mention the overflowing trash, rats, poor/ defunct amenities, etc.Property Manager Responded

Deceptive
October 30, 2022I currently live here and it is not what it seems. Maintance is not equipped to handle any calls, they never have the equipment or tools to start or handle the job. You get pat answers to your concerns, and your concerns are never addressed. Revolving door of tenants. Your smart package is only for your door and nothing else. June 25, 2020I lived here almost 8 months and ended up choosing to leave early the place was so unlivable or sympathetic. To start, the day I got my keys the glass door to the bedroom was completely shattered with glass covering the entire room. A five year old kid was almost severely injured by the glass and it took them over five days to fix this issue, leaving the glass scattered across the floor in the mean time for me to navigate around. Even with calling the police to get the police reports asked for ...by the office, they never addressed the blasting loud music coming from my neighbor at all hours of the day and night. They then started ignoring my emails and phone calls after about the fourth compliant (I checked and when I called from a different number, they magically started answering the phone again). The music was on seven weeks before I finally moved out early. They even made moving out a nightmare. They shuffle you from person to person and none of them are in contact with each other to purposefully take their time addressing any issues. The business lady Angela sent me into a panic attack as she screamed at me for ten minutes over the phone explaining that she didn't have time to answer any of my questions because "It was the first day of the quarter and she didn't have time to deal with me" when I was referred to her regarding a simple payment question. If she had ten minutes to yell at me she had more than enough time to answer the simple question. The apartment itself has non-working, outdated, unacceptable appliances and when you turn the stove on to any of the settings it automatically goes to the high setting and cannot adjust it and it smokes up the entire apartment when you try to use it and it smells terrible, setting the fire alarm off. The dryer has to be run at least three times in a row or the clothing does not dry-- this is after they fixed it twice. I implore you, find a place of better value, and one with kinder or even slightly empathetic staff as you will not find it here. They do not care about their residences at all. The managing company and the employees they choose to bring on are extraordinarily manipulative and purely motivated by money. August 19, 2015Having lived in the community for a while now, I can honestly say that this is a great if not perfect community to live in, whether you are on your own OR looking for a starter apartment for you and a loved one, like myself, this would be a great start. Everything is within minutes away (The mall, two grocery stores, banks and more also From the extra activities like tennis, The gym, and the swimming pool and the greatest staff that is always willing to help you also with the neighbors in the ...community who have helped me thru my troubling times with my mother, I couldn't think of a better place to start.
