Rude and incompetent property management

Made my application process a nightmare. I provided everything they needed. I sent my paystubs and ID copies in one email. Says did not receive paystubs. I show the prove and send it again. This is not a big deal in itself. But she calls me again the next day that I did not provide previous landlords, I told her to look further in the form and she confirmed (check it first before you call to blame me). Here is the boiling point: she says there is one more rental I did not report. I explained to ...
her that it is a temporary place I subleased for two months. I don’t know the contacts of the landlord. I have other landlord details for the last three years where I stayed at least one year and signed lease agreements. Instead of suggestion for solution she barks at me believing by speaking louder and louder can convince me. I could not finish my explanation without her interruption, at which point I gave up and withdrew my application.

We do require the last 6 concurrent paycheck stubs and 3 current/previous consecutive years of rental/mortgage history, including temporary housing and/or staying with friends/family. Management has advised the Leasing Consultant on proper etiquette when speaking with applicants. We hope you were able to find an apartment that better suited your needs.

Lived here for 2 years. Had my car stolen 5 times and break-ins occur daily. Mail boxes are tampered with and management refuses to solve any of these problems. If your looking for a safe place to live this is definitely not it

We do apologize that your car was stolen and you did not feel safe here. We have installed security cameras throughout the community, we have on-site security patrol nightly, including weekends and holidays, and we are now fully staffed with on-site Management and Maintenance that monitor the property. We have not had any reportable occurrences in the last few months.

A great place to live! The location is awesome- Amberwood Apartments is located just north of the heart of north San Jose. You are within walking distance of many great amenities in San Jose, not to mention several major freeways, including 101, 880, and 87. The San Jose international airport is also very close.
The building is still very well maintained with an awesome management team. If there is ever a problem, no matter what time, the staff there are readily available to assist you. I was ...
always very appreciative of the team when I would submit a work request in the morning and by the time I got home from work the issue was already addressed. Not to mention, the management dedication to tenant happiness is second to none. The pricing is just right, plenty of parking, right across a park, I have a washer dryer in my unit and new appliances.

I've lived here for a few months now and am really happy with the complex and community overall. The maintenance workers are prompt and polite, the floor-plans are spacious, and the community is beautifully landscaped.
- The kitchens in some units are huge with room to add more counter/prep space and so are the patios. I also really like the in-unit washer/dryer and dishwasher.
-The parking situation 5/5. You have to register your vehicles. I got a carport and there is plenty of ...
uncovered parking, which was a big problem in my last complex, so I don't mind. Also, to note, this complex is right next to this huge park and there is so many areas to park.
-Noise: 4/5. The insulation does well at keeping temperature comfortable (our bill is half what we used to pay) the community is also super quiet.
- The office and maintenance staff: 5/5. The staff here are super nice. Overall, they're considerate, (mostly) efficient, and eager to help.
-The main closet is great, and the pantry holds a ton.
- Location, location, location: VTA down the street, golf course across the community. Bart is being built down the street, it will be available in January. Can't wait to go to the Giant's games.
- Price: 5/5 the lease terms are awesome; and from all of residents I have talked to, they have lived here for years. So, I guess that says something.

I live in a beautiful two bedroom apartment at Ambergrove Apartments with my fily and we love it. The bedrooms are much larger than than our previous apartment and love that the laundry room is in a small room with a door off of the kitchen. I love that there is a park within a couple of minutes waliking distance from a park. The maintenance and staff are very attentive and the grounds are always beautiful and clean. When a repair is needed it's taken care of quickly which my family and I ...
really appreciate. Allison the manager and Amanda are very nice and always helpful. The only thing I have a problem with is the water pressure is lower than our previous places I've lived at. This is a quiet and great place to live .

There is just something special about Amberwood apartments. This apartment community is extremely beautiful, well kept and peaceful community. This is a great place to call "home". This apartment has the perfect location for family. There is a really nice park with kids playground just one block away. Walking distance to supermarket and great restaurants. Quick access to major freeways. The apartment area is well maintained and the staff is really friendly and professional. It's a great place to live especially if you have a family with children like me. Searched all over town and this is the place I had my mind on the first time I walked in.

When my husband were looking for a place to live in the San Jose area, we looked @ a lot of apartments before we decided to settle here. Thirteen years later, we are still here, and still enjoy our place. The location is real convenient. There is a city park across the street, nearby transportation with BART to be coming soon. The pool is real nice, and the neighbors are very friendly . The office staff is very friendly and accommodating and any maintenance requests are done in a timely manner.
