Fine for the price, TERRIBLE with pest control

Living at Arbor Hills was a frustrating and uncomfortable experience due to a roach infestation that lasted the full 3 months I lived there. Despite reporting the issue multiple times and having pest control visit, the problem was never resolved. Roaches were regularly present in the kitchen, living room, bathroom, and even occasionally in my bed, making it hard to feel clean or relaxed in my own home. In addition to the insect problem, squirrels and raccoons had easy access to the roof space directly above my bedrooms where they would nest as the weather cooled down. This resulted in frequent noise, especially at night, and raised concerns about safety, sanitation, and long-term maintenance of the building. I’m sharing this to warn future renters that ongoing pest and wildlife issues may not be addressed effectively or in a timely manner.
Thankfully, the property manager agreed to mutually terminate my lease and fully refund my security deposit, but the inconvenience of moving again during the holiday season can’t be overstated. Ask detailed questions and thoroughly inspect any unit you’re looking at before signing a lease with this property.
