Condition is old and poorly maintained. Hot water heaters have never been serviced, so you will hear rocks tumbling for every second of use of hot water. Apartment turns are miserable and not verified by management before move in so you have to be inconvenienced while they finish the turn AFTER you move in (that's a 2 for 2 experience for me. Painted over mold/unknown stains that bleed through the paint within 6 months. EVERYTHING if YOUR fault, even if you have proof that it isn't. Expect ...
to have to clean your apartment upon move in, and half of the doors/drawers will not function properly. Most window screens will be missing, all will be improperly sized so bugs can be your roommates. Grounds are poorly maintained. Pool is often closed and never well maintained. Carpets have unknown materials left underneath them that you will stumble on at some point. Floors are uneven/improperly installed/finished. Maintenance doesn't know how to maintain because they are random kids off the street and obviously have never been in the carpentry/maintenance field before. All forward facing staff are pleasant and nice...that is their one star...that and you aren't allowed to give them zero stars. If you have bugs you will NEVER get rid of them, and the office will tell you that it's okay to live with cockroaches roaming in your bedroom, kitchen, living room, closets, bathroom, etc. your apartment will come preconditioned with stains on the walls and ceilings. Tape will be peeling in multiple sections and you'll LOVE the inside of your cabinets! Water damage throughout, but a fresh coat of paint! They will tell you you have new cabinets, but it's just a fresh coat of crappy paint and new dollar store hardware.

I enjoyed my apartment at Arbor view and felt very safe, there. I was there for 6 years and only moved out because I am getting married and moving into a house. The staff is friendly and any needed repairs and concerns are addressed promptly and professionally. It is a great place to live.

I am a current resident living in a 2 BR apartment and wanted to expand to a 3BR. We have been waiting and asking for a 3BR to open up. Just last week, we visited the office to ask if there were any openings. The people working abruptly told us no but we took a paper and left. This week, I asked again if there were any openings in which the response was that they just sold one and didn't have any openings. But just last week they claimed there were none open. After a few exchanged text messages, ...
one of the workers called promising that she would let us know if anything opened and tried to get us to renew our 2 BR for another 12 months. I explained to her that I was in the office last week wanting to move before my lease was up in October. I guess she didn't care. As I went on apartments.com, we saw another opening for a 3BR here that was going to open in October in which we contacted the management again. They passed the phone to someone else because they knew it was me who called. The person was nice enough to show us the apt that was sold which was updated with new carpet, fenced in porch, vaulted ceilings, and on the 3rd floor but did a drive by of the one opening on Oct which was by a dumpster and on the first floor in a high traffic area. We declined. Obviously we werent 'worthy' to move in the other one. Management does not keep up with current residents and only looks for new ones. Keep that in mind.

I have lived in multiple apartments in Tallahassee and found that Arbor View to be the best in Tallahassee. Their staff is second to none as they will go above and beyond to satisfy the needs of their renters. Another plus is the beautiful grounds they are located on, Arbor View is an excellent apartment complex and would recommend to anyone looking to rent.

This place is very clean, the staff are friendly and helpful. I have been here for only a few months, but enjoy it. The one bedroom is the largest I've found in Tallahassee, and for the best rate.
The area is great, as it is close to Target, Walmart, Publix, the mall, parks, and a large number of restaurants.
I would recommend this place to anyone.

I have lived at Arbor View for almost a year now and love it! The ladies in the office are very friendly and helpful, as are the members of the maintenance crew. Grounds are well-kept. Pets are welcomed and loved by the staff (this is one of the few complexes in town that allows large-breed dogs). Feels like home!

I visited this apartment complex during my trip to Tallahassee. I was looking for a place to live when I relocate this summer. I "fell" for it. The place had all that I wanted and needed including a place for Fido. I looked at a few other places but found the value wasn't quite the same. They had similar amenities but the price was out of my budget. Arbor View had the value, the wow factor, and the amenities.

Arbor view is by far the best apartment complex I have ever lived in. The office staff are probably the most helpful and nice people. They were very accommodating when I needed a place to live they were able to start my lease that very same day! They allow almost every breed of dog, which is great because most nicer places in Tallahassee have breed restrictions. The maintenance staff has made a large effort to get to know you and your pets, and fix things very quickly. The apartments are nicely ...
