Great Place to Live - Horrible Experience Moving
January 13, 2025I liked living here. I lived in a 2br 2bth for 2 years. I had no issue with crime, noisy neighbors, and I felt that the maintenance crew was respectful and did great work. However - moving out has been the worst experience I have ever had with an apartment complex. I moved to another complex on the island for a better price with more space, and to park behind a gate. Moving out of Arbors has felt like volunteering to get scalped at every turn. I don't know exactly when the change happened, but ...the two women in the front office are absolutely on a power trip. The office isn't very communicative, but when they are, they sure do know how to talk down to you. I am grateful that my current leasing office is professional. I urge you to tour every single complex on Mud Island before you settle for Arbors Harbor Town. If you do choose Arbors, you will probably like living there, but I guarantee that you will hate moving out. Throughout my time living there I wrote multiple five star reviews, so this moving out process really has been sent from hell. I advise you to get everything important in writing, as this complex will not honor anything they say over the phone/to your face. Best of luck.Property Manager Responded

Hard to find things to complain about!
October 18, 2021Great location, very nice amenities that are well-maintained, friendly staff, and maintenance is handled quickly and professionally! Sandra helped me get the lease signed and was very up front about the costs. Lincoln and the maintenance team has been quick and effective with any maintenance requests as well! Overpriced and poor management
August 1, 2020Hidden fees everywhere - you feel that they just invent different names of fees to charge you multiple times. Rude and lazy staff - impossible to speak to them when you call. Also impossible to visit them when walk-in. The property manager is one of the worst I have ever met. Overpriced for such a service - they are taking advantage of the location and that's not fair.Property Manager Responded

So far so bad
June 2, 2020I moved into my apartment to a door off of the closet, a not working air conditioner, and a promise to get my AC fixed within the week. Also microwave hasn’t worked since I moved in 3 weeks ago after putting in a maintenance request. Fast forward to two weeks later they put in a window AC unit, now, three weeks later, still no main AC system. Aside from that, found a brown recluse in my room. They promised me pest control would be here four days after I found it.. of course they don’t show up ...either. Unimpressed.. and I just graduated from college too, so I wasn’t expecting much! June 5, 2018the staff is one of the most rude customer representative I've ever come across. Nothing ever gets done and when you complain, they give you attitude!! Not Worth the Money
August 16, 2016Hidden fees everywhere. Had to buy out of lease due to transferring, and they informed me that I owned one amount and charged me an extra 150 dollars they did not inform me about up front. As well they informed me by mail, and did not email me or try to contact me in regards to it. Brown recluses everywhere. The apartment was filled with bugs, called at least three times and input a service request online to get apartment sprayed, and that never happened.Review from Apartments.com
The Arbors of Harbor Town
August 14, 2015The apartments are old but still nice. The great thing is the convenience to the downtown area, restaurants, and stores on the Island. The lease office manages service requests in a timely manner. The downsize, is the all the extra billing fees. Which can be a huge turn off. Arbors Harbor Town on Mud Island
August 11, 2015Arbors Harbor Town is in a great location. It is a short drive from downtown and located conveniently next to the restaurants and grocery store of Harbor Town. Mud Island is also a beautiful area and very safe. The apartment itself was in great condition and clean when I first moved in. It was a great experience initially, but unfortunately, my experience deteriorated and I am moving out after a year here when my lease is up. Maintenance here is terrible. They do not come unless you constantly ...call the office. I had a broken lock and a leaking air conditioner for three months. When you call the office, your phone call is hardly ever picked up and if you leave a message, you hardly ever get a call back. Sometimes the only way to get anything done was to get nasty with them. Arbors Harbor Town has amazing amenities, including a pool and gym. However, the pool looks like it is not cleaned regularly and the air conditioner in the gym was broken for months. If you are looking for an apartment on Mud Island, I highly suggest looking at other apartment complexes on the Island.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
