some maintenance person let themselves into my apartment today
November 12, 2025I came home and it was obvious someone had been here and used my bathroom. Had to be maintenance because there was no forced entry. Things were moved around in my bathtub/shower area…shower curtain was open and a bottle of conditioner was just left sitting in the middle of the tub…the toilet seat was up like a man lives here (no man lives here) and the bathroom door was closed when I came home. I never close my bathroom door because my cat’s litter box is in there. I’ve had so many problems since ...moving here but this is the final straw. November 4, 2024I have lived at this complex a few times over the years. I keep coming back because the apartments are nice, good options for layouts, lots of amenities, convenient to just about everything! The office and maintenance staff are 5 star as well! Terrible Complex
August 8, 2023Recently moved out of Array South Mountain for many reasons. 1)When moving in the flooring was bubbled and needed replacing. Took over a month for someone to come and fix it which should’ve been fixed before moving in. 2) Be prepared to deal with cockroaches. 3) Homeless people are always walking around the complex and they would leave their belongings on my patio. 4) Shooting occurred at the park and since it’s not a gated community, I feel it is unsafe. 5) Kids run around and will kick on ...your door or bang on your window as a “joke”. 6) The pool is always closed for maintenance and the fitness complex hasn’t had working AC the entire year I was there even though I informed the front office about it. Overall not worth the money, I would recommend paying the extra $100 for a gated community or any other location.Property Manager Responded

AVOID THIS PLACE
June 28, 2023Went on a tour of Array South Mountain and they had an apartment that had everything we wanted. Applied a month before moving in and got the lease 2 weeks prior to move in. Not even 24 hours before we are supposed to move in Vanessa calls us to say we no longer have an apartment since it won’t be ready in time. Seems like a common occurrence talking to others so if you decide to move here be prepared.Property Manager Responded

Beware!
June 21, 2023Run away. Don't walk. Run. Took my cashier’s check and deposited it before telling me the apt probably wasn't ready for us to move into. We were supposed to move in the next morning. We were shown the apt and it was trashed. Holes in walls no baseboards up. A/C falling out of ceiling. Condenser dripping into the hallway. Filthy counters and sink. Paint peeling away from the wall behind toilet. Ceiling fan so out of balance I thought it would break out of mount. Then after I refused apt they said ...they would have to mail me a refund because the check was already deposited. It's been 14 days and still nothing . Update 6/21: Emailed the community manager and still haven't heard anything. After spending all morning calling, I was finally able to reach someone. They mailed out the check the day I put out this review and was told to wait 6 to 10 business days to receive it. I was blatantly lied to from the beginning. Renter Beware
March 16, 2022Everything you’d expect form an apartment complex. Occasional police presence, loud music/noisy neighbors, OK management and staff. The cool thing is they have the Amazon lockers for packages so things won’t get stolen. But, STAY FAR AWAY FROM ARRAY - I moved out on 10/1/21, turned my keys and filled out a forwarding address form so I could have a statement sent, etc...THE WHOLE SHEBANG! Then on Sunday, 10/24/21 I receive a call from a gentleman telling me that it was my last day and I needed to ...be out. Um, excuse me? I moved out and already filled out your paperwork 24 days prior! At that time I asked him about my move out statement and he said I would be getting it in the mail. I called repeatedly for several months to get this and finally gave up in mid-January. Well, well, well...here I am being contacted from a collections agency regarding $300 of unpaid something's from Array. To say I am angry is an understatement when I've been requesting this for several months from Array's clearly incompetent and dilly dally like mentality staff. I would have gladly paid any and all fees, however now I have a ding on my credit report (thankfully I already bought my own home!). ARRAY IS AWFUL since management change(s). DO NOT give them your money
September 7, 2021The one star will be for cheap rent but you get what you pay for!!! DO NOT move in here. RUN away fast!!!! Go anywhere else but here. They do nothing but lie and IGNORE you. I have had issues ever since I moved into this awful place. Missed cabinet drawer, missing lights, clogged drain, leaky bathtub, toilet seat falling off. Most of these issues I had to address myself. Unit was not ready for my move in date. I was in a hotel for a week and was told I would be given a credit on my rent for ...the costs, months later and I have still not received a rental credit. The manager Joel has done everything to avoid me regarding this. Bottom line they are awful here and have blamed it on previous bad management when they are the ones who cannot treat tenants good. Keep in mind there are awful people that live here. Stealing multiple bikes that were chained up. Trash over flowing. Trash left outside of tenants front doors. Roaches everywhere. Fights and gun shots during the night. Amenities that cannot be used. The gym is always locked and Cannot be used outside of the leasing office hours. Pools are dirty all the time. I have never seen anyone here cleaning the grounds or maintaining the pools.Property Manager Responded

DO NOT MOVE HERE! THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY AND LIE!
August 16, 2021No seriously, RUN. I usually do not make reviews unless I really need to so that I can let others know. We never lived at this complex, however we were going to. Anthony had promised us on our tour on August 2, 2021, that that we would receive our admin fee of $180 if it was within 48 hours. On August 4th at 1:01 pm, well before the 48 hour end time, I had called Arrays front office, and communicated to Anthony that we would like to cancel our application and to have our admin fee deposit ...reimbursed. He had said that would not be a problem, but he had to talk to a higher up and would be in contact. We had not received a phone call. On August 5th at 12:34 PM, I had talked to a woman named Vanessa in which I told her that this was my 2nd time calling about this situation. She said that someone will be in contact with us shortly and she would put it in the notes. We never received a call. On August 6th at 11:00 AM, I had received a call from a woman named Nya saying that we were on the list as a prospective tenant, however I had communicated to her that this is the 3rd time speaking to an individual at the Array Complex. She had said that she is calling from off site and that she would put it in the notes. On August 10th, we had learned that we will not be receiving our admin fee without any valid explanation. This is unacceptable as I have contacted the office on three separate occasions to request my admin fee of $180, in which Anthony stated we would receive back. If they can do this with a prospective tenant, they are especially doing this with current tenants. Steer clear of Bridge Management and the Array at South Mountain Complex.Property Manager Responded
