DO NOT RENT HERE!! I lived at Arrive Streeterville for two years, and moving out was the best part of my experience. “Don’t just come home, arrive”… arrive to cockroaches, broken elevators, rude staff, and hidden fees. This building markets itself as luxury, but it couldn’t be further from it. My roommate and I dealt with recurring cockroaches despite multiple maintenance requests, elevators that were constantly broken (8+ minute waits just to arrive at even the lower floors), unreliable HVAC, ...
poor internet, and front desk/security staff who often treated residents with complete disrespect. Residents (including myself) were met with dismissive attitudes, eye rolls, raised voices, and staff speaking negatively about tenants.
The worst part was management. My roommate and I were blindsided with almost $1000 of surprise fees because of unclear lease language – no thanks to the manager Natalie for the lack of communication and transparency in every aspect. Then we were charged another $100 simply because my lease ended on the first day of the month, triggering a new billing cycle – which I find to be completely outrageous (When I brought it up to the leasing agent Priscilla, she tried gaslighting me by saying that I was not getting taken advantage of and that this was just standard procedure. I am pretty sure standard procedure is not getting billed an additional $100 just because my lease ended on the first of the month, when I already paid the current month’s rent in full).
Between the constant fees, poor communication, and complete lack of accountability, it felt like management cared far more about finding ways to charge residents than taking care of them all the way up until my roommate and my last day. My recommendation, save yourself the stress and rent somewhere else. You deserve better than this.
