Like many an apartment-ite, you're hooked on the show "Heroes"; after all, who doesn't dream of fighting crime, flying high above the cityscape, or moving objects with your mind? While the opportunity to do such feats doesn't seem to be on the horizon anytime soon, you can at least get to know your potential counterparts by taking in a visit at Villain's Bar and Grill. While evildoers like The Joker and Doctor Octopus may not be represented at this stronghold, classic bad boy icons such as Elvis, Andy Warhol and James Dean can be found at almost every turn. Alternating dark and golden hues highlight the establishment, giving it a sinister 'dive' feel that is in direct contrast to the actual atmosphere - inviting, hip and friendly. The menu might prove to be the most ill-intentioned of all...at least for your waistline. Try their fried macaroni and cheese bites, or if feeling exceptionally daring, dive into a garbage burger, complete with cheese, bacon, avocado and caramelized onions. Oversized, rock star-themed martinis are a must at the bar, and be sure to call ahead to get a schedule of their regular theme nights so you know which evening is appropriate to don your red and blue tights.
