Best Apartment Complex in Newbury
September 27, 2021The apartments are open concept and spacious. They feel more like condos as they have fireplaces, large laundry rooms in unit and large patios. I currently have an upstairs unit so I can’t speak for similar downstairs unit but after nearly three years I am still very satisfied here. They keep it clean and on The Weeknd’s it’s pretty quiet. Beware!
March 30, 2018I am a new renter at Arroyo Villa Apartments and I regret moving here. Management seems to lack the knowledge and common management skills to maintain apartment this size. There are many stories that I can provide, but I will only state the obvious. Negatives: Multiple families living in at least 5 apartments. About 6-10 people live in each location. (Management was notified, but was told, "there's nothing we can do.") Parking- Well good luck finding a parking after 5:30PM. You're better off ...parking down the street. Interestingly enough, we are given a garage to use, but after walking around the street, about 15% use them solely for storage. Arroyo Villa Policy states you may not use the garage for storage. Was told there was security on premises, well that was a lie. Neighbors were partying in the streets until 9PM with children. Positives: Clean, nice pool. Arroyo villa apartments - Not Great
June 9, 2017I lived here for 15 months. I never had seen such a rude, mean and disrespectful people managing apartment complex. They should not be treating people in the manner they do though. Mary is very rude. Mary is most disrespectful, rude, and unprofessional person I've ever met. They do not explain why but they say that they "routinely " charges are for carpet cleaning, window cleaning, etc., regardless of the condition of the apartment, and that they take this money out of the security deposit. They ...provided charges for Apartment Clean, Carpet Clean, Painting. Left with the place in great condition and even then they charged and didn't return the whole security deposit. Family apartment
October 9, 2015I have been living here for 2 years. I am a single mother with 3 kids. This is a great place if you have a family. Loads of stuff for kids, playgrounds and a nice pool. The gym is a little run down, but still most of the machines work. The plumbing could be better. The maintenance staff is excellent as is the managers. When something is broken it is usually fixed within 24 hours. Overall I would recommend as the buildings are very family oriented and quiet in the evening. Not the greatest
January 27, 2014I have been here since July. I cannot say that I am happy with it. The kitchen is nice but the bathroom is a joke! It is so tight that I am constantly bumping into the walls. I am very disappointed with the fact that they gave me a garage in the NEXT building. So bringing up the groceries is a hassle and not looking forward to when it really starts to rain.
