I enjoyed my cozy living space at Arvada with the added amenities.
Upon move in, my unit was impeccably clean inside and out. The cabinets, drawers, the mirrors, the doors, (I was not trying to rhyme) light fixtures, the balcony, the windows, the closets and handles, all appliances were shiny even under them. Yes, even the garage was clean!
The neighbors were extremely friendly and mindful of quiet hours. I treated my rental as if it were my own and I returned it in the same condition as I ...

I appreciate apartment living simply because when any issues arose, no matter the time of day or night, management/ maintenance responded to calls / messages in a timely manner. Especially with the 24 emergency maintenance line. I really appreciated that.
Honestly, the extra fees for the outdoor lighting is necessary for safety, water and trash are standard fees everywhere. However, some properties do add to or include the cost with the rent. So, regardless of where you live rental or ownership there are costs.
If I could, I would share photos of the beautiful sanctuary that I created in my Arvada space.
