October 12, 2019One word, COCKROACHES!! Managment claims to keep routine pest control, but they dont unless you complain! I lived here nearly 6 years and since the current managment took over in 2017 the place has gone down hill! Such a shame because it's a great part of town with great schools in the area!Review from Apartments.com

Angry at Best
September 10, 2016One window unit that is suppose to cool only 400 S feet in the entire apt .Stays hot. And only 2 washers in the West building. To serve over 25 units. There are No hook ups in the units. The 90.00 dollars IS recurring every month. So add that on top of rent.Look at other apts. They also retaliate to renters that supply honest reviews by making trumped up allegations..unproven. Great Community in a Quiet Neighborhood
August 14, 2015I've lived at Village West for nearly a year now and really enjoy it. The neighbors and the property manager are very nice and pleasant. There is an indoor pool open year-round that is well-maintained, and the grounds are kept clean. Rent is a little high for what the apartments are, but that seems to be a universal constant in the metro area these days. I think I'll be renewing my lease :)Review from Apartments.com
Not worth the going price
September 6, 2015Denver metro area rents are insanely inflated, mostly because of homeowners selling within minutes (yes, I said minutes) & they can't get into a new home as quickly so are taking rentals. This place went for $675/mo with most utilities included just a couple of yrs ago, now it's over $1200 with no utilities. They keep changing owners & management so when you complain, they blame it on the predecessors & it had not been kept up until recently. Repairs take forever to get done, when they're done ...they're haphazard, sometimes without the legally required protection of the tenants. Long time tenants see no loyalty or appreciation--new tenants at least get newly renovated units. You pay for everything here now, including common area electricity, pest control & property taxes...but the best pest control I had was getting a cat!
