ABSOLUTELY AMAZING
March 28, 2017I HAVE LIVED HERE FOR NEARLY 3 MONTHS AND IT IS THE FIRST TIME IN MANY YEARS I HAVE BEEN ABSOTULEY OVERWHELMED WITH JOY AND PEACE. THE NEIGHBORS ARE GREAT, MANAGEMENT IS BEYOND AMAZING AS WELL AS, MAINTENCE STAFF. THE COMPLEX ITSELF IS VERY SERENE AND PEACEFUL. THIS IS THE FIRST TIME, IN A VERY LONG TIME, THAT I HAVE THAT SENSE OF HOME SWEET HOME. August 24, 2015The complex has recently got new management, I was not here before but in less than year the complex has had new siding, new trim, paint, trees planted , flowers planted, grass planted, fixed sidewalks and a resurfaced parking lot all with little inconvenience to residents. The beautiful Ashford place has a great location, atmosphere and continues to improve all the time.Property Manager Responded

Good for the Price
July 27, 2015Pros: Spacious one bedroom, walk-in closet, 2 closets in the bedroom, washer and dryer hookup in the second closet, open kitchen to the living room, outside storage, fireplace, nice built in shelves in the living room... Cons: Although they clean the carpet it is very old and needs replacing, The ac stops blowing cold air around a month to a month and a half and they have to keep putting more freon in the outside unit - it may just be the unit I'm in, there are no ceiling fans or lights in the ...living areas of the apartment - they are only in the kitchen/bathroom/dining area, the kitchen and bathroom floors need to be replaced - the laminate is peeling back... I have been living here 4 or 5 years now and overall have been pleased for the amount I'm paying in rent. Digital Cable is included. The management staff has been friendly and takes care of issues almost right away. The pool is nice and there is a workout unit I don't normally use only because I have a membership somewhere else. The apartments back up to a city park so there's no need to drive there - it offers tennis, a track, football and softball fields, a playground for kids, and a dog park. For the money you can't go wrong. Advice, before you move in or consider it, don't be afraid to ask for a few new things to be upgraded. I talked to a guy who moved in upstairs from me and they put in new carpet for him before he moved in. Lastly, you are in the center of conveniences. There a grocery stores, restaurants, anything you could possibly need nearby. The complex has a Methodist church to one side of it, you can easily walk there. Hopefully all of this has helped.
