Poor security
September 15, 2022Regular break ins, primitive security standards, no fob in elevator, anyone can get to your house once they are in through the main door, which is unmonitored at night. Management won't even send communication to the community about all the crimes happening in this apartment.Property Manager Responded

We do have fob access to enter the building and we recommend ensuring that everyone use their own fob to enter so we can be sure that only residents are entering!

Management is not at all efficient and very rude
May 4, 2022I am a current resident here since November 2020 and my experience has been bad out here. I’ve had troubles dealing with management; the concierge is rude and doesn’t help you with your packages - have lost several package because of their mismanagement and The building stairwell smells like a dumpster. For reserving the elevator online only to be told by the concierge that you have to make reservations through the app and that this is a recurring problem other residents have had. There have ...been no emails about this from management. Why wouldn't you just remove the option to make reservations from the website so that this doesn't happen? Overall it’s a very poor management so avoid at all costsProperty Manager Responded

Overall bad experience
March 26, 2022The apartment was noisy: We were in the apartment for 6 months and could not wait to leave. The apartment itself is quite spacious and the amenities are nice. However, the walls are very thin and we could constantly hear our neighbor's music and their voices when they would have people over. The doors are also very thin and we could hear people outside so it didn't feel like we had much privacy. Difficult and unresponsive leasing department: When we were moving out we spent hours scrubbing down ...the apartment but the leasing center still took out a decent amount of money from our deposit to cover their own cleaning. When we moved out they were supposed to charge us prorated rent for the month and I had followed their instructions to cancel my parking spot. They ended up charging us a full month's rent for the week left in our lease and for the parking spot. We had to send several emails over the next few weeks to have the charges corrected and a refund sent. Rude concierges & communication issues between leasing department, tenants, and concierges: When we were moving out we reserved the freight elevator and loading dock through the website. However, when we went to move out we were informed by the concierge that they didn't honor the reservation made on the website and there was nothing that could be done because someone else had reserved the two amenities. Overall the concierge was quite rude as were moving out and would make snippy comments.Property Manager Responded

Unprofessional leasing staff
January 16, 2020I would give negative rating to this property, if there was an option. I moved out of this apartment after completing one year lease. While moving out, I left my apartment in a very clean and totally undamaged state, yet they deducted huge amount from my deposit, since I deposited one month of rent with them. I e-mailed their leasing staff approx 30 times about the move out statement or receipt, and they dont respond to a single email now. Highly dissatisfied!! Also, during my stay in ...apartment, I faced multiple issues, like water blockage, broken exhaust fan and even their heating system needed replacement. Management takes months to fix every single issue! Worst apartment and leasing staff. Expect to get no response/action from the staff if you are living there, or moved out of it.Property Manager Responded

Enjoyable Renting Experience
September 11, 2015I enjoy living at Aspira. My apartment is large compared to other studios in Seattle, and the air conditioning is a lifesaver, as the summers are getting warmer and warmer each year. The common areas are well maintained and the staff is helpful if I have a question or concern. I enjoy the common areas in the building, especially the deck, which just got new patio furniture with plenty of loungers for those precious sunny days. Hate to leave!
May 1, 2014I lived in 4 different places in Seattle in 7 years--Aspira for the last 2 1/2. If I weren't relocating to another city for work, I would stay here indefinitely. I always received prompt, courteous service from the leasing staff, concierges, and maintenance; the building is concrete construction (so super quiet) and convenient to everything. My unit was spacious, bright, and comfortable, and utility costs are incredibly low. Highly recommend.Property Manager Responded
