Poor Resident Safety

I rarely leave negative reviews, but prospective residents deserve to know about my experience.
Living here has become increasingly frustrating due to ongoing safety, security, and sanitation concerns.
The most disturbing incident was finding hateful graffiti in my building's stairwell. While management removed it after I reported it, residents were never notified that it occurred or reassured that this type of behavior would not be tolerated. A simple communication acknowledging the incident ...
and reinforcing community standards would have gone a long way toward making residents feel safer.
The building's key fob entry system has also been inoperable for months, leaving the entrance unsecured and allowing anyone to access the building. Despite repeated concerns, there has been no permanent resolution.
Stairwell #8 has become another ongoing issue. Residents have repeatedly allowed their dogs to defecate in the stairwell without cleaning it up. There have also been persistent odors consistent with dog urine that make using the stairwell unpleasant. This has happened multiple times and reflects poorly on the property's upkeep and enforcement of community rules.
Management has stated that they cannot take enforcement action without identifying the responsible resident, but the limited camera coverage and the unsecured building make it difficult to identify repeat offenders. Better security and surveillance could help deter vandalism, property damage, and recurring sanitation issues.
Everyone's experience may be different, but based on mine, I no longer feel the sense of safety or pride that I expected when choosing this community. I hope management takes meaningful action to improve security, cleanliness, and communication so current and future residents can enjoy the living experience they deserve.
