Overpriced and under maintained apartments
October 20, 2022The maintenance staff take months to get back to you over even the smallest of issues. They require you to pay an additional fee to have your mail delivered to a safe room with no alternative option. The parking spaces directly in front of the apartments are reserved for anyone willing to pay $25 a month just to park in front of your own apartment. The apartments themselves are overpriced considering the quality and state of the apartment and appliances. When I moved in the microwave was missing ...it’s plate, the dishwasher was broken before I had a chance to use it, and there was a crack in the bathtub that took them over a week to fix with me being unable to use it in the meantime. Generally terrible apartments. There are absolutely better ones in the area.Property Manager Responded

Management doesn't mind roaches
August 26, 2021I'm writing this review in the middle of the night as I'm unable to sleep with the plethora of bugs surrounding me. I've found several cockroaches in my cabinets and a multitude of centipedes in my bedroom and bedroom closet. I've had a leak in my apartment for over two months now and have been told several times that it would be fixed, but it has not. Considering the fact that moisture attracts centipedes, it isn't that surprising that they are everywhere. I've had to tear apart my apartment ...trying to spray for bugs and feel completely disgusted. Management rarely returns phone calls and messages, including my messages inquiring about why the leak has not been fixed. After reading other reviews, it is obvious that this is a common problem and it is no wonder there is a bug infestation problem. I had initially planned on renewing my lease since this is a nice area and a good location, but this is the final straw for me. I am desperate to get out of this place. And please do not let the pictures fool you. I would absolutely not recommend this apartment complex. Update: I spoke with the assistant property manager about these issues. They were condescending, not at all apologetic, and acted like I was being unreasonable. They told me they were aware of all of my messages but had no plans to do anything. Endless issues
June 5, 2021I was happy when I chose this apartment complex, but have become more and more disappointed with it since my lease began about two months ago. I submitted a maintenance request when I first moved in and have since submitted two additional requests, and they still have not been addressed. I have spoken with someone in the leasing office at least 5 times now but that has not proved to be of any help. Some of these maintenance issues include smoke pouring out of the stove when I use the oven and the ...washer not working properly. The apartment smelled putrid when I first moved in, and I still haven't been able to get the smell out despite my efforts to do so. My clothing even smells like the place, which is humiliating. It was absolutely disgusting when I moved in, and I spent a lot of money on cleaning supplies. I went through an entire container of Clorox wipes just to clean the kitchen and bathroom. These are only a few of the many problems I have with this place. I planned on living here during the two years I will be in graduate school in Richmond but do not plan on renewing my lease. I would not recommend this community. February 5, 2021Well I’ve been living here for almost a year and I wish I enjoyed this place more . The floors creak so bad and it took months for us to have maintenance come out to service anything. Our stove makes weird ticking noises when the oven is turned on. You can hear EVERYTHING in the hallway, in the apartment above you, and the apartment under you too. For some odd reason they placed a couple with a 2 yr old over us so we hear the kid running through the house all day and night. And don’t get me ...started on the parking . If you’re not in a parking spot in front of your building by 8pm, you will have to park at least 2-3 buildings down in the dark. They don’t tow here nor do they have guest passes so guest are always taking the tenants best parking spaces. December 9, 2020My husband and I moved into Copper Spring in the summer of 2018. We had a very rough start at CS due to previous ownership/management who let a lot of maintenance issues fester - beware of ZRS Management!! Bell Partners took over during our second year at Copper Spring and we have since seen noticeable improvements. The complex is older and we must admit we have dealt with continual maintenance issues mostly relating to older systems in need of repair/replacement. The current management and ...maintenance staff stay busy and have been very professional through all the chaos that has come with 2020. The complex is overall very quiet and peaceful; the layout allows a decent amount of privacy even though the complex itself is only about five minutes away from Short Pump. While there are ups and downs at every complex, we have overall enjoyed our time at Copper Spring and truly appreciate the staff for their hard work and diligent efforts.Property Manager Responded

December 7, 2020Copper Spring has been my home for over seven years. I am very happy with the property management and with the courtesy of the friendly staff. I have a secluded apartment with skylights, high living room ceiling, patio, spacious bedroom, walk-in closet, and wonderful kitchen.
