Thin walls
January 22, 2023To the person who lived at 1720 and wrote the review about no privacy the same is with 1620 oaktree dr.i have been here for 2 months and am already wanting to leave. You can hear everything the neighbors talk about, every single step the upstairs neighbors take, and the setup of the apartment is where your bed room is next to the neighbors living and your living room is next to your next door neighbors room. So if you are watching tv and they hear it, they will complain but yet they will put loud ...music while showering and expect you not to complain about the noise.Then there are guests who don't care and are blaring their music at 4 in the morning or at midnight. The apartments are nice, but the walls are thin. Also, you can hear the upstairs neighbors flushing the toilet like if a whole bucket of water is being poured.If you work from home, this is NOT it.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com

There Is No Privacy!!!
November 22, 2022Let me start by saying, I’ve been at the 1720 location for 13 months and I can’t wait to leave!! When I first got my keys, the staff member had my lease length as one month. I wasn’t informed how long my lease was (14 mos) until a month ago. Every time I asked, there was no response. The biggest issue is the extremely thin walls. You can literally hear EVERYTHING your neighbor is doing from cooking to cleaning to taking a bath to just merely walking on the floor. If you have a sensitivity to ...sound or need a QUIET place to work from home, this is NOT the place. It’s setup like a college dorm! My tactic was to just turn my TV up so I can NOT hear my neighbor but at that point, “you’re disturbing the peace”. I’ve reported several issues with my peace being disturbed with NO resolution!!! However I can’t really blame the neighbors. IT IS DUE TO THE THIN WALLS! Management is inconsistent! It was managed by a different company when I first moved in that provided more payment flexibility that worked with my pay schedule which is the reason I moved here anyway. EVERY correspondence sent via email or printed contains MULTIPLE misspellings and grammatical errors which I can not take seriously. Not ideal for pets as the pet area contains only gravel and concrete. No Amenities yet the price keep increasing! No Gym! No patio! They just added a sitting area near the office I’m assuming as a community patio. If you have a choice, choose other properties! You can definitely get more bang for your buck!
