Nice place but has roaches

Lived here for almost a year
September 29, 2024This is by far one of the nicest places I have ever rented. I can barely hear my neighbors the insulation is really good. Jenny at the front desk showed me the apt the same day I called and I started moving in on the 2nd day. She stayed on top of all the paperwork and kept in touch regarding the process and what forms I need. This was the easiest place to move into. I give it a 10! Clean and well-managed property
May 20, 2021My wife and I moved in with our two boys in late 2019. We were in a very difficult situation and Avion Apartments did a wonderful job accommodating our circumstances and working with us to get us moved into a unit (on a Sunday even!). In a lot of ways, the team here really saved our family from living in our car putting us into an even more challenging problem. During the pandemic our family once again struggled to make ends meet and, although I believe California state law had a lot to do with ...it, the team here at Avion worked with us really hard to help us stay in our home saving us once again from finding ourselves homeless. There are any number of things here that people will find a way to complain about, but on the whole they are largely out of their control or are simply a result of the quality of people living in the community. Anna and the folks in the leasing office work hard to manage a dynamic community/property, and the maintenance team Dion and Paul are always responsive, knowledgeable, and courteous working hard to keep a large complex clean and functioning. And I'm certain none of these people get paid enough or get the resources they need to do what they do. I believe people get what they put into something. I feel that if more people here cared about where they lived, had more "skin in the game," then this apartment complex could be something really special in an area of our lives we could all really use right now - a community.Property Manager Responded

Roaches outside
July 2, 2020They have a garbage service. People pile their garbage outside their doors. If their cans are too full they are too lazy to go to the dumpster. Food falls on the ground. No one picks it up. Garbage bags leak. Some people just put the bags out and don't use the designated can.Review from Apartments.com
Nice on the outside HORRIBLE on the inside !!!
February 19, 2020DO NOT MOVE HERE ! I lived here for 2 years and it was all buttered up in the beginning but in the middle it got VERY BAD. First the have a HORRIBLE BUG PROBLEM ( mole mites ) please look it up ! These apartments are fested with them , then we had a bad water bug problem that was coming up from the plumbing , 2nd there’s new management every month. 3rd my car was broken into not just mine SEVERAL people who lived in the complex dealt with it , someone car even was stolen in the complex. They ...sweep it under the rug because it’s not their problem! & everytime they renew your lease they’ll go up a extra 100$. Trust me it’s nice on the outside but when you move in it’s HELL ! & they don’t try to help fix ANY situation they really don’t care.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
THEY WILL KEEP YOUR DEPOSIT!
November 16, 2019The premises are nice and it is nice that the complex is gated, I am giving them two stars for that. I would not recommend them just for the fact of how sleazy they were at the time I moved out. I travel quite a lot for work so I was hardly ever at the apartment. When I moved it I left it squeaky clean and pretty much move-in ready for the next tenant. Anna (the person who did my final walk-through) even said "The apartment looks great! It doesn't even look like it was lived-in. Did you have it ...professionally cleaned?" then went on to say "You're probably going to have to pay for touch-up paint for scuffs here and there but that's all, you should expect a charge of about $40 for paint." The paint was just as it was when I moved in but I did not want to make a big deal over $40 so I did not say anything. Well Anna also completed my closing statement and tacked on the following fees against my deposit: $125 for a "cleaning fee," $75 for a "carpet wash", and $44 for "paint" and other fees that were not explained to me. My deposit refund is $5 from $600. This is ridiculous and a complete joke! Of course they were going to try to keep all of my deposit. I have a very detailed recording of the entire apartment that shows that there was nothing that apartment needed. I am waiting to hear from them on their absurd fees and provide evidence as to what was done. I absolutely loved living at Ashgrove Place
August 25, 2015This is the first apartment complex that we've lived at that we have nothing negative to say about. The grounds are beautiful and every maintenance request is taken care of in a timely manner. They are almost always in the office (sometimes past business hours) and I almost always get through to someone on the phone when calling. It feels like its own little community and my husband and I love it here.Review from Apartments.com
