RUN from the new management company
July 21, 2025This place was decent until Cortland sold the building to Ayla, owned by Equity Residential. The garage gate is always broken & I’m certain they aren’t paying enough to get it properly fixed. They changed the garage gate opener to a camera/sticker situation and you have to pull up so close to the gate that you risk your car getting hit. The elevators are broken all the time, if you can’t take the stairs due to injury or disability then you just don’t have any access to the pool or gym, period. ...I’m sure fixing them is a money problem too. They fired the cleaning crew (again I’m sure to save money) and bought a giant robot vacuum to roam the halls. As someone who lives on the top floor, I’ve only ever seen it once. The hallways, stairwells, and garage are always dirty & full of trash. They took away the package lockers (again probably a money thing because the package lockers were owned by Luxer) so now if you have something delivered it’s just sitting out in the open in a room that any resident can access, so packages get stolen all the time. And honestly the worst thing they’ve done is take away the trash. There used to be 2-3 trash chutes on every floor that lead to dumpsters in the basement. They decided to lock ALL TRASH ROOMS except a single one on the first floor, so now trash is constantly overflowing. The chute literally can’t close because it’s so full all the time and they continue to threaten residents with fines if they don’t properly dispose of their trash. I’m honestly not sure what they expect us to do with our trash at this point. They have installed a camera into the single trash room they left open so they can see who leaves their trash sitting. They tried replacing the trash chutes with valet trash that gets picked up at your door but it’s obviously not enough to properly handle the trash issue. Do NOT live here. My husband and I’s lease is almost up and we are running far away from this place.Property Manager Responded

Not a Fan - EQ is not for the residents.
September 19, 2024Thoroughly disappointed on how the transition took place. I’ve live in some high end areas and have always had a leasing team that advocates for there residents. That is not the case here. Getting in contact with the office was a challenge at first which was understandable but when I finally got in contact, I faced a forward individual that made it clear that my expectation on assistance should be held to the ground. I was ultimately met with no solution for my problem. This has led me to leave ...the community with a horrible taste in my mouth. If you have a little to no engagement with management, you may have a decent experience but prepare for a team that lacks empathy, understanding and desire to resolve.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Not a recommended place to move.
May 5, 2024Worst management and leasing staff's. People at the leasing office provide false information and they have a huge communication gap. They are very careless and always provide false assurance. I had a very bad experience with my move-out process. Honestly a really great place
April 25, 2023I just finished my first year here and signed for another year. It’s a really nice place to live. I really can’t complain. Pet friendly and fun events!!
