Most of the early American pioneers arrived in Dallas via wagon trains which was along an old trail known as Shawnee Trail and later named the Preston Road. Due to various activities around this area, a community named Lebanon was established. In the year 1902, a railway line was built which was known as St. Louis-San Francisco Railway. As expected, most people relocated near the train station and the place developed to a town which was named Frisco City in honor of the train station.

Frisco is a city known to experience humid climates. On average, the city receives 39 inches of rain and 230 sunlit days yearly. In the July and August season, the temperatures are 96 degrees while in January they are as low as 33 degrees. The city is most comfortable during spring and autumn seasons.

How do I get around town?

Moving around or to Frisco, TX is not so much a big deal. This is because there are various means you can use to move around. You can either catch a shuttle bus or book a taxi. If you are travelling from far, the Dallas/Ft. worth International Airport (DFW) is a sure way to get there.
