Not Good
September 3, 2024Day 1 washer didn’t work. Unit was very dirty and had hand prints on the wall and hair in the drawers. Unit was not re-cleaned and the management team even with all the photos and proof on move in day refused to do so. Lots of little issues that have come up over the year plus I have been here. Management enters the property without proper authorization or notification. Must be an emergency situation for them to enter but they will and say they contacted you but didn’t. And then a lot will not ...clean up after themselves and leave your doors wide open. Just basic common sense issues. Claim, “ Fully Furnished “. They are not if you look up the definition that includes a microwave. Across the nation they do this. First place I have seen in many states that lies and doesn’t. Water pressure in the units is pretty bad you’re lucky to get semi hot water but never anything more than that. AC is very poor in the units, it will semi get you by in the summer but you will be paying a lot because of how inefficient the units are. Management Team has been replaced since I have been here because of poor qualities. I am not seeing signs of a better outcome so far from what I have seen. The units are very overpriced as of 2024 year. You can find many quality locations that are cheaper within 10 miles of this location in Marietta and Kennesaw. Amazing property
August 22, 2022I just want to say how amazing the barrett walk team is! They always solve my problems right away and help me when needed. Taylor & Bonnie in the office are simply the best and always so kind and helpful. Rashod and Justin are so helpful when it comes to my work orders and requests. I can see all the time and effort this team puts in and i greatly appreciate it. After the old office staff left the new team is the better and improved one! Not the Best But not the worst.
October 6, 2021I’ve been living in this apartment complex for about 6 months now and overall it’s been good. Some of the problems I have noticed is how often the gate was broken and how slow it closes. For about a total of 2 months the gate has been broken in some way and anyone could get in. Another thing is the office staff, now I know that staffing will never be perfect but I don’t think there was any good communication between anyone in the office. I will say though the maintenance team as been ...spectacular, they are fast to fix whatever problem happens. Moving onto the apartment itself, it was in good condition when we first arrived, though the stove wobbles and definitely isn’t balanced correctly. The paint was even but there were a few chips and hold in the wall. Overall this complex is a 3/5 for the price and area it’s in.Property Manager Responded

I have been very impressed with how quickly the few little move in maintenance items have been handled. They have been very respectful of my schedule and time and most of the time things have been taken care of the same day. Great apartments!
October 21, 2017I've lived in quite a few apartments and I've NEVER renewed my lease at any other place than this one. The staff is absolutely amazing and so accommodating. They know me by name (and apartment number because I get stuff from Amazon all the time!) and sometimes I'll sit and have a chat with the girls! Any time I've ever had a small issue with the apartment, someone is always out to fix it immediately. If you're thinking about moving in, you would not be making a bad decision. Horrible staff
March 18, 2016I do not like this place. The staff do not care about your needs or safety. There were a few robberies not too long ago which I think might've been done by someone with access to our apartments as the doors/windows were not broken into. I do not feel safe living here and the walls/ceilings a paper thin. Definitely not worth the price I pay monthly which hopefully I won't be paying for too much longer.Review from Apartments.com

August 9, 2015The staff here is really great and I really have no complaints about anything they do. My only complaint comes in the building I live in because it's right by the road. July 28, 2015If you are looking for an apartment within walking distance to almost anything you need, then this is the place. Amenties are average. Nice pool area and gym equipment is little dated but overall I would recommend Barret Walk. Beware though my lease is up in August and rent is being increased approximately 13% from last year. This would be my second renewal and wasnt even close to that high of a percentage last renewal. From what I've looked into others are about 5%.
