About Bayit Edinboro

Hi everyone, we’re Bayit Edinboro. “Bayit” means home in Hebrew and that’s what we promise to provide our tenants. We offer both residential and student housing. Our residential apartments have private spacious kitchens (G.E. appliances, ample cabinet storage, and ceramic tile), living rooms and bedrooms. We offer one, two and three bedroom options for residential leases. We also have on-site management and maintenance in addition to 24/7 emergency maintenance. Let us tell you a little of what we have done in the past few months—and what we plan to in the near future—to improve the property for our residents: • We've installed brand new GE washers and dryers in our on-site laundromat. The machines have card and app payment options, as well as coin payments. The machines can conveniently send you a text message when your laundry is complete. • We’ve rolled out a resident portal, allowing free and easy online payments, simple and efficient maintenance requests, and easy access to signed agreements including the lease, addendums and much more. • We have a completely renovated building with brand new stainless steel appliances, beautiful vinyl flooring, and an open concept. • We are working on more renovation projects and plans for more renovations in the future. • We have begun installing new smart locks which will add convenience and avoid any accidental lock-outs. • For prospective tenants who are busy, we offer video tours of our available apartments/townhouses. • We built a brand new children's playground on the property, as we continue to look for additional ways to improve the property. For our student tenants: We’re currently leasing for Fall 2025 year starting at $3,497 per person with utilities / internet / furniture included (some options vary). We are the closest housing to campus and offer fully furnished, high quality, affordable, off-campus student apartments located directly across from PennWest University (Edinboro). We have One and Two bedroom apartments & Three and Four bedroom townhomes with private spacious kitchens (G.E. appliances, ample cabinet storage, dining set and ceramic tile), living room, and bedrooms. We also have on-site management & maintenance (24/7) & work with all Financial Aid and Special Payment Programs. We've upgraded the student experience (in addition to all the above) with: • High-speed wi-fi with individual routers for each unit are available • Digital locks have been installed across the property and we continue to install additional ones. This means no more lost keys and this allows tenants to give a code for friends and guests to enter remotely. • New BBQ and picnic area to have a nice outdoor space for all of our tenants! Affordable, pet friendly, & responsive

I've been in my 3bd townhouse for about 6 months now. I'm honestly surprised by Bayit and the management! I was moving with 6 weeks notice from out of state and couldn't find anything affordable in Erie County, especially since it was September when college students had just rented everything. I was able to lease the place completely via digital communications (text, email, app). We moved in site unseen and did have some immediate maintenance needs, but they were handled within a day. We share ...
one wall with neighbors who have several young children and rarely hear anything from their side. The community is pretty active, with people frequently at the playground, using laundry room or gym, and kids hang out by the leasing office playing pool. I work from home 3 days a week and do not have any disruptions. We have 2 cats and many others have animals, but I rarely hear dogs barking. Management is pretty good about communicating when improvements are happening or when inspections are needed. Many of the maintenance and other staff live in the complex, so they care about their work. They have long term improvement plans in place, but it is still a work in progress. Our building has older windows and some damage from old roof leaks, and wish we had a dishwasher and AC, but I've lived in many rentals in many states, private landlords and management companies, income restricted and over priced, and this by far the best all around. We pay our rent via the app and our building has flat rate utilities that are billed through the app as well. The complex is large, so there is usually always something available. Because of the high availablility, they don't let you out of the lease unless you find someone to take the apartment (by starting a new lease, not subletting). Overall, I'm very pleased and will likely be here for a few years until we can hopefully afford to buy something on our own.

I just moved out of Bayit apartments in January. The biggest thing I could say is I am SO GLAD I never have to deal with them again. (mind you, we have yet to receive our security deposit refund) They take 5-6 business days to answer a text. They are never in the office. They messed up our payment ledger and acted surprised when we brought it to their attention. They always have maintenance issues in the community center. It was excruciating and quite frankly unprofessional. It’s a shame that ...
they own a good majority of the property near and on Edinboro Campus. My advice to you is - stay away from Bayit if you can help it. I won’t even get into raising outrageous prices…
