September 30, 2024This place is a complete mess and extremely filthy. All the appliances in my apartment keep breaking down. Maintenance couldn’t fix the water overflowing in my apartment. Despite this ongoing problem for 2 months, they’re still asking me to pay rent.I submitted a maintenance request on July 18 and have been dealing with it since then, including calling the leasing office.I was told by a receptionist that their manager can only be contacted for emergencies, so I have to wait until Monday despite ...the water overflowing in my apartment. My request to have 2 months of rent waived, it hasn’t been approved yet. Their app was so slow, it messed up my rent payment. They promised to fix it but never did, so I got hit with a $250 late fee.Property Manager Responded

Management is the worst - nickel and dime for everything
September 18, 2024The only good thing about this complex is the maintenance. They are quick to reply and get things done if anything breaks, which I'll admit happens pretty often. We had our washer, dryer, and microwave all replaced within months of each other. However, the management is the worst. They don't respond in a timely manner, they are frankly kind of rude, and there is no sense of urgency or sympathy. They also don't seem to communicate with one another. I turned my keys in 5 days later since I would be ...on a cruise when they needed me to turn my things in. They called me while I was on vacation and said "Are you going to turn your keys in today or" and when I told them I had done that days ago, I was met with attitude and a hang up. When they gave me the final quote for the apartment, it seemed awfully convenient that the direct deposit ($500) was the EXACT amount needed to "fix, clean, and replace" the things around our apartment.Property Manager Responded

Smoke-Free?
March 15, 2024I thought this was supposed to be a smoke-free property, but people smoke cigarettes and weed constantly. The smell travels through the building into other people's apartments and management does nothing to address this issue. The lease states: “Smoking anywhere inside buildings which includes entrances and exit doors of the dwelling community is strictly prohibited.” “Smoking on balconies, patios, and limited common areas attached to or outside your dwelling is not permitted.” So, smoking is a ...clear violation of the lease agreement. Overall, it's unfair to those of us who do not smoke and do not want to deal with the detrimental health effects of inhaling secondhand smoke. What attracted me to Bell is that it was advertised as a smoke-free environment. If that is not the case, there is no reason to live here.Property Manager Responded

The lack of care by maintenance and the leasing staff shows in how the residents treat the property.
