March 27, 2026I've lived here for 2 years now and am still pretty happy with the complex as a whole. The maintenance team is AMAZING and kind; they often take care of any issues I report within 24-48 hours (they are the reason my rating is high). The area of the apartments I reside in (near dog park) is always pretty clean and quiet. Other than the office being a little too slow in responding, leaving unanswered emails/voicemails, and being understaffed, they are decent. I recommend living here if you are set ...on moving into that side (and don't mind being stuck between two sets of train tracks).Property Manager Responded

March 27, 2026Neighborhood is great. Property management needs improvement. Communication is slow to non existent. The promise of a community has never been fulfilled. Events are rare and often not communicated until it’s too late (day of). Was told there would be monthly events and last year there were 3 total. Onsite community room is great gathering spot that is way underutilized. Beer taps have never been made available, not a single time!Property Manager Responded

February 26, 2026Overall living here is just so so. The trains are incredibly loud. Do not believe them when they say it’s a no horn zone. Also management changed fairly quickly into our lease here we had too many issues in between both. Our apartment wasn’t even cleaned properly before move in. Other than that, the apartments are dog friendly and it’s close to a lot of things in the city. Will we renew? No. But I did love the interior of the apartment.Review from Apartments.com

January 4, 2026I’ve lived here for 4 year now and I can say this place has declined a lot since grey star bought the place. Not sure what happened to Robert. He was an excellent property manager. Everything is always broken (elevator, doors, gates) nowadays. Back hallways are nasty filled with dog poop and pee. Leasing office does not send communication about anything anymore to residents. Used to love the property but not sure if I want to keep paying the amount that I do for subpar living amenities.Property Manager Responded

September 26, 2025I have lived at Bellrock Sawyer Yards for over a year, and I am so pleased with a number of qualities at this amazing place I get to call home. The staff is so approachable, kind, and very friendly. I love how easy it is to be understood and get my needs taken care of! The entire building is consistently well-maintained (cleanliness AND landscaping/pool), people are generally friendly and respectful, and everything from the unit design to the halls and shared areas are of the highest quality. ...You truly get access to an opulent living space in a quaint area at a pretty reasonable price!
