Without Question, the WORST place I've ever lived!
February 4, 2026 - Review from Apartments.com*NO HEAT most of the time! *Electrical probably needs upgrading - when you use the microwave, the lights dim! *Paper-thin walls – I can hear ALL my neighbors conversations! *I have already heard two verbal fights that escalated to physical altercations by the couple in one of the apartments above me! * The tenant above stomps from one end of the apartment to the other, non-stop, between 3am and 7am EVERY DAY like it’s their job! *Filthy Apartment – not even broom cleaned before my move-in date! ...Previous tenants’ hair is everywhere; kitchen cupboards caked and sticky with grease; filthy kitchen appliances inside and outside; mounds of dirt, even chap sticks and cutlery behind and under all the kitchen appliances! *Bathroom just plain NASTY! *Bi-fold closet doors in the apartment have fallen off the tracks! *Obvious dirt around and behind the outlet and switch plates - they simply painted over the dirt! *I just keep finding filth everywhere including mounds inside and hanging on the bathroom and kitchen vents! *Shared terraces so anyone can walk over to your terrace door and windows and see or enter inside! *Roaches! *Dog barking ALL DAY & NIGHT even though I was told NO DOGS or PETS are allowed – BTW current ads for the apartments say “Cats Allowed - Dogs Allowed!”! *Filthy elevators and gigantic questionable stains on hallway carpets! *Extremely small refuse room for the number of tenants on each floor so it is always overflowing with garbage, blocking the shoot so you can't even get in to properly dispose of your garbage! *Impossible street parking so they charge excessive parking fee for outside and underground on-site parking! *Nasty and rude security guard; non-English speaking maintenance staff; unavailable super and no contact information for landlord/management company! *Unbelievable noise from the nearby school! *EXCESSIVE rent for non-upgraded apartment although this is a rent-stabilized building! *Laundry room is not clean and requires a huge amount of "quarters" per load! *Building front door lock flimsy and requires two hands to open door so forget about holding onto your packages/bag/child, etc. Most of the maintenance and cleaning issues were pointed out to the broker who assured me they would be addressed before I moved in! Unfortunately many of the above would not have been seen during the viewing of the apartment and only experienced once you move in! My advice – BEWARE! Seek living accommodations elsewhere.Read More
Loved living here at first until COVID
August 13, 2023 - Review from Apartments.comWhen I first moved in in 2019, the building was super nice and clean and well taken care of. Once COVID hit this place became an absolute dump. Bed bugs and roaches everywhere (yup they had someone spray numerous times but the entire floor had a problem) and the laundry room is disgusting. I moved out ASAP once the bed bugs took over. Worth mentioning the pool is owned by an outside company and WAY too expensive to actually use.

July 29, 2022 - Review from Apartments.comAfter 25+ years I moved out of this dump. Infested with roaches and water bugs. In all that times I never got so much as a single coat of paint but they had the nerve to take more than half my security deposit to prime and paint and repair floors. In all that time the only thing I got from them is a less old dish washer when my antique I inherited finally died.

April 14, 2022 - Review from Apartments.comI have been in my apartment since Oct 2021 and so far so good. I love the building, the convenience of parking near the entrance, and esp the laundry area. There is someone who will pick up & deliver my laundry for a resonable fee. I also like that they deliver Amazon packages to my door. I love the sunset view from my 3rd floor. Now some negatives are the super is not that great, however, certain things got done, like they fixed my terrace door, changed a light bulb in a timely manner. The ...people in the office can get edgy, you have to know how to deal with that. I suggest just be nice. The shopping is great in Bay Terrace shopping center and I love the Stop&Shop there. Overall, very happy. And it is auiet where I live and not one roach, which could be because I have a cat. I do recommend this building.Read More

April 29, 2021 - Review from Apartments.comI lived in this building for 20 years. Moved to Fla. last year. This used to be a very nice place. But management doesn't want to hear anything, except for you to pay your rent. For two years I had to put up a tenant above me that stomped around, dropped heavy items, etc. Management paid no attention to my complaints. After 20 years, I had no respect. And they no longer vetted new renters.
You don’t want to live here
April 17, 2021 - Review from Apartments.comYou don’t want to live here. The maintenance is non existent. The bathroom overflows constantly and nothing is done. You either pay for a private plumber or live with it. The bathroom door collapsed off it’s hinges and was patched together terribly. The floors are busted up. Unsafe. Complaints go unheard. Management company does nothing. At best you’ll get a kid to sneak your toilet now and then but it doesn’t solve the problem of the systemic level. DON'T DO IT!

The super is not responsive and management doesn't care.

There were roaches roaming down the hallway & inside apartment units. Exterminator appointments were cancelled without notice. Super doesn't care. Pro of this apt is its convenience location.

There's great public transportation just a few steps away and easy access to the major highways. The building is maintained really well and I just knew when I saw it that it would be right for me. Just imagine my delight my first night in the apartment when I stepped out onto my terrace and realized I had a clear view to watch the sunset. The building is well maintained and is always being upgraded. The building also has a pool club with tennis courts on premises. 24 hour security. Most of the apartments have been totally renovated. I've been here many years so mine is non-renovated but still in good condition. All have terraces.
