LIVED THERE OVER 4 YRS
October 20, 2025I can say that Leslie, which is the property manager is awesome. Very kind and understanding. The owner, whose name is Andy is very rude. He walked around the apartment complex all day with his nose, stuck up, acting like he is disgusted in us as though we don’t pay to live here. they raised my rent every year when I renewed my lease and then I found out that they weren’t even doing the same to my neighbor. They have some newer apartments and some older apartments, but all the apartments ...are gonna pay the same rent regardless if it’s outdated or not, The pool has never worked since I’ve lived there . For the first two years of my living here I did not have any heat. Even with my complaining to the manager, I pretty much had to beg them to come check it out. The air conditioner that is in the front room only heats the front part of the house so in the summer, the rooms were unbearably hot.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com

Rodents, nasty tenants, no laundry
September 2, 2020It's on the borderline with Gary, so many that one would never consider for neighbors, live here. Loud mouths and their booming hoopty. Trash everywhere and theres no cleanup. Laundry room with nasty and broken down equipment and the parking lot is a drag race lane for the above mentioned hoopty. Oh and Fedex refuse to deliver to this place.Review from Apartments.com

August 14, 2015I just moved into Birchwood and on the first day we noticed the sink leaking. I called management and they were there in less than an hour. The quick response was great. I am close to the mall and restaurants and a quick drive to the expressway. I like it.Review from Apartments.com
