I've lived in apartments in the area as well as others, and this is by far the BEST place I have rented! Had my life circumstances not changed, I would still be living here. The complex is well-maintained, and maintenance is effective, efficient, and friendly. The community is ideal for those who own dogs and/or enjoy being active (walking, running, biking, etc.). I've lived at Blackhawk Trails for about 13 years. The apartment buildings and grounds are well kept and maintenance was quick and efficient. Many complex events and parties are fun and make you feel more part of a community rather than just a room to live in. The apartments are close to many restaurants and shopping areas. easy excess to the beltline and is right next to a beautiful park. The Property Manager on site was the best I've ever had.

I've been living at Blackhawk now for 4 years and just signed another lease. Blackhawk is very well maintained. If you have any kind of issue come up Management and Maintenance are right on it!! Close to just about everything you could possibly need. I love living here!!

Our experience living here has been truly wonderful. The elementary school for our child is fantastic, and we couldn’t be happier with it. The community is always very clean, and whenever something needs to be fixed, the maintenance team responds quickly and takes care of it right away. It feels quiet, peaceful, and very safe, which makes it a great place for families.
We also enjoy the amenities. The pool is great — even though it’s the only one for the whole community, it never feels crowded. ...
The office is very convenient when we need to print something, and the gym, while small, has everything we need for a good workout.
Overall, we really enjoy living here and feel very lucky to call this place home.

The apartment is wonderful. The one bedroom is spacious, has good lighting, and the patio is a bonus! Everyone is nice and respectful. It being pet friendly has made such a good home for our cats. I love having the pool to enjoy after work and the location is convent for short drives to many restaurants.

This is I think hands down my favorite apartment complex I’ve lived in! Not only is our apartment really big and lovely but there’s a great fireplace and in-unit laundry and on top of all of that we have underground parking!

From looking for a place to moving in to living at Blackhawk, my experience has been awesome. The landlord and maintenance team are responsive, kind, and helpful. The property is really nice and the amenities are great. It’s such a great value. Highly recommend this place!

Started living here with my boyfriend & couldn’t ask for a better complex. Apartment is located in a great part of town! Close to Middleton & close to west side restaurants. The apartment is well maintained - they have done several improvements while I’ve lived here, including adding cameras to buildings & repaving the parking lot. Maintenance & management are quick to respond to requests. Would recommend to anyone looking for housing in Madison.

We’ve been here for over a year and can’t recommend enough! Very accommodating for pets while still being quiet. Great neighbors, maintenance staff is very helpful, and management is helpful and positive. Close enough to amenities while being on the outside of town. The park nearby is very nice, lots of people out for walks with their dogs and families.

Lived here for a year and truly enjoyed it. It’s very nicely located, with stores and the mall within 10 mins. There is a club house that is available to use, a pool with a very nice deck, elevators and carts that help with moving. Maintenance is incredible and quick! Jessica, the property manager was always very helpful and friendly. Overall, I would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone who’s looking!
