They will take your deposit for normal wear
August 1, 2023On move out, we were informed that the carpets were not savable, and they not only kept our deposit, but tried to charge us another $700 to cover the cost of replacing. The carpets were not burned or damaged in any way...they were simply worn from two years of wear and tear. There were no bare areas...they were just grimy in one area, near the stairs. Most apartment complexes replace the carpet after every couple of tenants, without charge to tenants. This is literally the first time we've run ...across a management group who charges to replace a carpet. Never, ever. We dispute this charge and won't pay, even if we take a small credit hit. Be aware also that the place, which used to be a great place to live, is falling down. Cracked sidewalks, crumbling curbs, peeling paint on all buildings, and poor upkeep. Wonderful experience
June 24, 2020We lived here for a year in 2019 and the only reason we left was due to a move out of state. We downsized and sold our home and we couldn’t have picked a better place to stay during this time. Gated community, quiet, and the most amazing staff I’ve ever encountered. The management staff in the office (William and Lindsey) are kind, genuine, timely and helpful. The maintenance staff is responsive, kind and really do work hard to fix issues as quickly and thoroughly as they can. We didn’t take part ...in a lot of their social events due to our schedules but they do offer a variety of monthly activities for all ages. Their clubhouse is open and spacious and the pool and workout facilities are very nice.Property Manager Responded

Unhappy ending
August 2, 2015Bad experience all around, and do NOT move here if you have a pet. After they inspected my apartment when I moved out and said it looked good (no damages), they billed me to replace the entire carpet, with a better, more expensive carpet. After I left they black-lighted the carpet and said my cat had urinated on it so it had to be replaced - that was not true, I had witnesses, tried explaining this to the management, they refused to listen to me. I even own both dry and wet vacuums and kept ...the carpet in spotless condition. Oh, and to top it off, the apartment sprinkler broke and flooded my apartment on the day I moved out, getting the carpet and all of my boxes and belongings wet - which again they still billed ME to replace said carpet! The buildings are so old and humid that I had to buy an expensive dehumidifier because other first floor residents had mushrooms growing in their carpet. Very high utility bills in summer and winter. Appliances sub-par especially the water heater, which in a one-bedroom unit holds less than 10 minutes of hot water, so come here if you like cold showers. Maintenance is only mediocre. Only good things about the apartment are its location, the fellow tenants are nice, and the garage that comes attached to the apartment. But, those things do not help improve their rating when they rip off tenants upon moveout. I'm a professional and have rented for over a decade, this was the worst I've been treated by any landlord upon moveout. Great area and complex

A peaceful place to come home to and live life.
July 20, 2015This is a beautiful, cleverly designed, well maintained and secure apartment complex. I've lived here 5 years and the office staff is efficient and caring. The maintenance staff are "Johnny on the spot" to fix any problem (only one request is necessary). There, plenty to do tennis, swimming, basketball, walking and lovely pond to sit by. It's just a peaceful place to come home to and live life.Review from Apartments.com

Never plan to move
July 9, 2013I have lived here for many years and really love it. The office members are awesome and most have been here for years. The maintenance members try to complete tasks the same day reported. We've had snow storms most winters and they start plowing as soon as it starts snowing so you have no problem getting out. The office accepts packages for you and will bring them to your apartment and leave them inside your door. We have many community activities offered during the year and breakfast in the ...clubhouse each Saturday. I never hear my neighbors...never! Excellent
October 3, 2013We have not been disappointed. The office staff are friendly and helpful. The maintenance folks show up quickly and get the job done. They are also fast with snow removal. The management works hard to have community events that involve everyone. Our only complaints are, first, not much is done about people who break the rules, such as not keeping their dogs on leashes. Second, the management could demand more of contractors, for example those who maintain the gates and those who take care of the ...mowing. We feel safe here and have made ourselves at home.
