February 12, 2021I am almost positive that, any positive reviews you read here about Brentwood West Apartments, are from their employees. There is NO WAY anyone can say anything good about this place. At this point, I think it would be wise to knock the entire complex down and start from scratch. The infestation of rats and roaches is just HORRIBLE, to say the least! Do not be fooled by the website photos, nor the model apartment.Review from Apartments.com
DON’T MOVE HERE
August 24, 2020High crime rate, infestation rats & roaches, uneven walls, my ceilings cave in ALL OF THE TIME, mold even after bleaching. They just paint over the tubs after people move out so you can’t even scrub your tub without paint peeling out of your tub. Rude management. They will not allow you to break your lease even when you feel unsafe. Do not raise your children here. Not worth the high rent.Property Manager Responded

Living at Brentwood West
January 29, 2018I've been living at Brentwood West apartments for 3 years. It has been very peaceful. I appreciate the staff especially, if ever there is a concern or complaint with neighbors the staff moves with a high sense of urgency. I also recognize their events that are held such as Bingo night and Backpack back to school event. I hope their held again, they were both fun!!Review from Apartments.com
Poor poor poor management
July 24, 2017My neighbor just bikes was stolen and management said they do not pay security to walk around back-and make sure it's secure also we are paying for a pool that we do not get to use, And the buildings Have a lot of mold. In my air-conditioner broke and they replaced it with an older air conditioner These are conditioners are 23 years of age and they run your electric bill up. No pool at all
July 21, 2017No pool at all even though we are paying for one. Please don't believe them when they say we are going to fill it soon. They said that it would be up and running this past Memorial DAy and it still isn't. They are not going to fix it.and summer is almost over.The maintenance drive the golf carts to the store all the time instead of working on it. They won't do it and cooperate won't make them. May 3, 2017live here for one year and averagely it is good. it will be 4.2 star but i am so gernerous and i simply give five star, management is very good, but can be better. but some facts you need to know is my windshield is break by neighbor kid and they can not help, police cannot help either, it happens, some bad smell of smoking from neghbors some time. at this price the management waybe turn out to be best in class,Property Manager Responded

Don't Move Here
January 30, 2017For around the same price you can get something sooooo much better. it is infested with roaches no matter how many times you fumigate, the floors are squeaky, the kitchen floor is slanted and they just charged a whole month when our lease ended even though we were only there for 5 days. Not Best for Long Term Living
June 2, 2016Old apartments. Bad roach problem, especially in kitchen. Roaches mainly coming through old/worn kitchen cabinets. Got shocked on wire from stove 2x. Maint. informed me that cabinets and stove were approx. 25 years old. Was charged a fee to have all cabinets and stove replaced. Apt. had not been painted prior to moving in. Hallways smell of strong urine. One washer/dryer insufficient for 10 apts. in each building. Throughout everything, Mgmt. tried to be very helpful. Much appreciated.Review from Apartments.com

October 5, 2015I have been here for 3 years and still enjoy my apartment. My kids love the playing ground and the pool when its open. the maintenance is good and when you need their service they are always available.
