Excellent property
August 16, 2021I lived in Briar Lane for 3 years while working in medical community. I had a great time and was very pleased. The apartments are spacy and well kept. The leasing office staff are super nice and responsive. I didn't have any issue throughout my stay. The AC is a bit loud in the summer but otherwise I don't think you can find a better apartment for the same price.Review from Apartments.com

December 24, 2019I recently left this apartment due to finding a home, and I couldn’t have had a better experience at Briar LN Apartments. I lived in one of the one bedroom units. It was very spacious with plenty of storage/closet space and an attached deck with a beautiful view. Other residents in my building were respectful and quiet. Staff addressed maintenance issues I had, while being friendly and fair. The location was ideal, with short distance to both downtown and Knapps corner for groceries. A Great Place to Live
January 17, 2019My husband and I lived at Briarlane Apartments for nearly four years, and couldn't have asked for a better experience! The community is clean, well-maintained, and quiet. We have a very social dog, so we got to know many of our neighbors from spending lots of time outside. Everyone was friendly and respectful. The management and maintenance staff are also friendly, fair, and on top of things. We rarely had to put in a maintenance request, but they were always handled quickly and done correctly. ...The apartment itself was perfect for us, with a good amount of storage and a spacious living room. I especially liked the large slider in the living room, as it provides plenty of natural light and a great view (more so in the summer when the trees had leaves). The apartment was clean and odor-free and generally well cared for. Plus, we never had issues with the appliances. Finally, I loved the location! It is close to East Grand Rapids and Reeds Lake, which I loved for walking and running. STAY AWAY!
September 21, 2017Briar Lane Apartments may look nice with new updates, but this place is a mess and it's not worth your money. They've managed to slap some paint on the walls and deck out the clubhouse to lure in new tenants, but they could care less about current residents. The appliances are cheap and hardly work. There are bug infestations. Their staff are incredibly rude and unprofessional -- and that's not even the half of it... so SAVE YOURSELF AND AVOID BRIAR LANE LIKE THE PLAGUE.Property Manager Responded

Great Apartment!
September 4, 2015This is the best apartment I have lived in! Its been 6 years I have been living in this apartment complex. As a single working female, I can vouch for its safety, cleanness, no noisy neighbors. The leasing office staff and maintenance guys are very helpful and prompt to any service requests. The apartment complex is close to medical mile ( 8 mins drive), which is a breeze during harsh Michigan winters. Closer to downtown and Interstate, shopping mall, yet away from any hustle and bustle ; It ...offers a resort style living. Everyone who visited my apt, fell in love with it, and few of my friends even moved into the complex. November 4, 2014You pay for the location in these apartments. Appliances were not great, and we had to call multiple times to get something fixed. They responded quickly each time but fix things as cheaply as possibly cause the job to need to be redone. The maintenance staff seems unprofessional. It's one man that reeks of cigarette smoke; I always have to open windows and light a candle when he comes over. The neighbors and office staff are great and very friendly.
