July 16, 2023The good: kinda big for their price, in 2019. perfect walk to grocery stores, restaurants, or other shops nearby, in any direction. pets seem to like it here (cats will chase the bugs out) nice trees on the street friendly community the bad: utilities: Power and internet outages on the regular. No hot water right now, water outages every week or two. 80's AC units that cost $100-200 a month to run. Coaxial outlet had cut wires, painted over and unusable. Amenities: Hot tub WILL make you ...sick, never cleaned or used in 3 years, next to raccoon nest and rotten fence- approach at your own risk. Laundry machines only take quarters and smell of sulfur, barely work, one breaks down about every week. Local banks hesitant to serve because we empty out their quarters. Health and Safety: Landlord Special™ style paint inside outlets causes sparking. My bathroom sank a few centimeters last year. the floorboards no longer fit flush. Termite infestation. Ants make it several floors high and infest to avoid the rain. Apartments smell of cigarette smoke. Less than standard parking. Garage floods in the rain. Multiple floor floods every year. Things like nails and holes from previous tenants painted over. Door frames and windows do not fit, insects can simply come in- this includes roaches. Aesthetic: Landlord Special™ wall paint. everything looks coated in off-white goo. this includes mirrors, toilets, outlets, and switches. popcorn ceilings. illegal...maybe? Advertised as 200 more sq feet than actual. (measured- the apartment is slightly L or T-shaped, but calculated roughly as rectangular) Advertised as Smoke free, full of smokers- apartments smell of smoke from previous tenants, wafts down during warm days- multiple people on the first floor smoke, including the surrounded back yards, so the smoke floods every floor. Several smokers out front nearly every night, as well. Landlord is anonymous for a reason, I assume. Large company by "prosperity management co." Rent by check only- Renters hold no substantial records, at least 2 people went homeless or something- I still get their government mail here. Supercars park outside rehab center every weekend, for reasons unclear. Cops have shown up too on multiple occasions. very jank.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
