Stay away! Renting an apartment here has been one of the biggest mistakes of my life.
April 25, 2025I’ve been dealing with persistent sewer issues for the past year. During one incident, I left for only three hours and came back to find water overflowing from the bathtub and toilet, soaking the floors. Every time I submitted a maintenance ticket, the team would show up and apply a temporary fix—but the very next day, the same problem would return. Eventually, they placed large drying machines in my unit to dry the walls, which ran for 24 hours and were incredibly loud and disruptive. I’ve ...uploaded several photos and videos so you can see the reality for yourself. The gym is a joke—it’s poorly maintained, constantly smells bad, and only has three treadmills, a few dumbbells, and broken machines that are never fixed. On top of that, I hear loud noises daily from other tenants’ dryers and washers. There’s zero sound insulation. What’s even more frustrating is that despite all these issues, management still raised the rent—which was already overpriced to begin with! I’ve spoken to leasing agents multiple times. They make promises, but nothing ever gets resolved. Stay away from these units. At the time of writing, there are more than 10 vacant apartments, and no one wants to rent these poorly maintained units. If you want to rent a unit in this area, just look across the street—there are much better options with lower rent, cleaner facilities, and better overall management.Property Manager Responded

March 18, 2024Brightwaters is a peaceful and relaxed community with facilities that have been recently updated. Located in a quiet, beautiful, and safe neighborhood by the river. There are amazing places to jog and bike, yet you are only 10 minutes from downtown. The Brightwaters staff is friendly, incredibly helpful, and always willing to take a few minutes to visit. They are genuinely concerned about the residents and are always quick to respond to any maintenance needs or answer questions. The residents ...are always gracious and smile when you see them.
