Staff is courteous, helpful and on top of what is needed. The apartments are large, cozy and logically laid out. While older, the updates are nice enough over the great bones of a roomy and spacious floor plan. Being backed up to the nature preserve made life in the "big city" bearable for this country girl, I loved it!!! Upper Apartment stays warm and cozy in the winter and with only one living room AC, we needed box fans so it was not too hot in the summer. The only real downside? No garage ...

Management is extremely rude here. Washers and dryers are continuously breaking down and they either just replace the parts and it breaks again or they buy from the same cheap company and they break down in weeks again. I had my dishwasher fixed 3 times before they bought a new one and that one broke down in months they bought from the same cheap company.

Fake property management reports! Terrible plumbing pipes break & sewer backup. No heat barely would work sometimes it would kick in the middle of the night and sometimes when it did work it would get outrageously hot and would wake up dehydrated and sometimes sick & dizz! There was mold on walls & ceilings due to plumbing leaks! Terrible punk kids starting fires & blaming others!! Maintenance enters apartments without authorization or notice! These are very good apartments. They have friendly staff at the office. The office along with maintence handle all issues in a very timely manner and are very professional. This complex offers a safe and kid friendly environment perfect for a family looking for a good place to raise children. The cabinets are in good condition offering a lot of space in the kitchen. The appliances are up to date and there is a garbage disposal and dishwasher. The air conditioner is in good condition. The heat is included in rent and does a very good job heating the apartment in winter. There a dumpsters located close to each building making garbage removal easy. Unlike other apartments, you can hardly tell you are living in an apartment. There is little to no noise from neighbors above or around you.

It has all the necessary apartment amenities needed for a family of middle class. Schools are nearby with bus services, free gym inside apartment area, free heat, free water, kids play area (summer only), 2 miles from interstate I-94, 7 miles form major hospitals and emergency rooms, 2 miles from walmart, pick n save and walgreens, 3 miles for shopping mall etc. Excellent place with excellent rent and staff.

I have lived at the Brittany for just over 3 years now and I am very pleased with my choice. I have lived in other apartment complexs in New Berlin and overall they don't compare to the Brittany. There is a pool that is open during the summer and it is well maintained. The staff always plays music at the pool as well. The buildings are well maintained and they have on call staff during non office hours. Anytime I have called I have had someone at my place within the hour. They have high efficency ...
washers and dryers in a shared laundry room. You get plenty of storage in the basement as well. There is a playground in the center of the complex that my son loves to play at, and we have never said any issues with other residents. The sidewalks are always clear of snow by 8am, and hallways clean as a caretaker for each building lives on site. There is a workout area that is a good value. It's a one time small payment for a key to the building and you have 24hr access to the gym. They have several treadmills, elipticals, free weighs, and several other machines for weigh lifting. The owner is very passionate about making sure residents needs are met. They are great about keeping up on everything, and have recently paved the entire complex, tiled common areas, and replaced a lot of carpet in the common areas as well. The apliances in my unit are newer and dishwashers are in unit. The things I would like to see improved is I would like to see some newer equipment in the gym area.
