Write a ReviewThe Boerner Botanical Gardens provides residents of Milwaukee apartments a picture of the great green outdoors! Roses and peonies, trees, shrubs, herbs and even sculpture and rocks can be found here in a beautifully landscaped area. People who live in Boerner Botanical Gardens apartments are thankful for this lush destination near the city. The formal gardens highlight all sorts of annual and perennial blooms, with a special Rose Garden and a Bog Garden. In addition, the John and Hildegarde Voight Garden Trail is a highlighted area to visit. Here the horticultural types who live in Boerner Botanical Gardens apartments can see the test site for all American selections of flowers, all American vegetable display gardens and an all American roses garden. This is the cutting edge of horticulture and internationally significant. Sculpture and water features are found throughout the park, in the Herb Garden, the Shrub Mall, the Perennial Garden by the Rectangle Pool and in the Rose Garden at each corner of the Koi Pond. You may peruse the gardens at your leisure or go on a guided tour with a docent at $7 per visitor from Boerner Botanical Gardens apartments. Garden Walks are offered to view special seasonal areas of the park. At just $4.50 for adults for admission and $2.50 for kids of Milwaukee apartment residents, take a trip to see the Boerner Botanical Gardens soon. If you don't make it by the park by October 4, you'll need to call ahead to see the park hours for the day. The park is closed early November to mid-April and re-opens in that month to welcome guests from 8 am to sunset.
