On September 17, 1923, the North Broadway School’s doors opened for the first day of class. This robust Tudor Revival-style school served the children of Leavenworth for the next 76 years. After being shuttered to make way for new educational developments, its beautiful bones and prime location in the heart of the city made it a perfect candidate for revitalization. Nearly a century later, with its historic integrity preserved and updated with modern amenities, the new Broadway Lofts will continue its legacy of service as a home for the growing and thriving community of Leavenworth.
