Unexpected Charges and Unpleasant Surprises: Our Disappointing Experience at Brookhaven Lofts-Hillsborough
October 31, 2023Upon moving into our new apartment in Brookhaven Lofts- Hillsborough we encountered a cockroach within the premises. We promptly reported this issue to maintenance within two days of our arrival. To our surprise, we were charged over $100 for pest control. The reason given was that the cockroach had come from our moving boxes. We believe the management should have informed us about this charge beforehand. It feels unfair to be held responsible for an unforeseen expense that was not communicated ...to us in advance. Additionally, the washing machines were quite noisy when we moved in, which is disappointing. Overall, our experience with the management has been unsatisfactory.
