Nice apartment with everything closeby

We lived at the apartment for more than 4 years and found it a nice, quiet place. Walgreens, Grocery stores, Fedex is walkable. We never had any bed bug issue and apartment was well maintained and issues were fixed within a day. Parking and common areas are clean. People in other apartments dont make noise and is ideal home for family.

Worst community I have ever lived

I lived in Camino Palms Apartments for several years. The building is located right next to 7-Eleven where people almost every night get together and make loud noise. They play loud music and several nights it was really hard to fall a sleep under that noice. This is very bad for someone who has family and kids. The community is not gated. Many times I saw people just peeing in the parking lot. There is no any leasing office and most of the issues takes several days to resolve. The bed bug is ...

always an issue. From time to time the manager uses some secret spray, but it is only a temporary solution. Bugs appear again after several months. Many people with kids couldn't stay because of the bed bugs. Washer/dryer breaks very often. And many times it takes 3+ days to fix it. This means that you need to do your laundry somewhere else. Manager attracts new tenants only with comparable low rent price, but that couple of hundreds dollars don't worth all the trouble you will face living in this community.

I lived there for 18 months and i had no issues, The managment is responsive and they have upgraded various items, from electric to water, over my time there. I had no bed bugs, nor did i hear about anyone. It was a good experience.

Bed bug is a nightmare

Bed bug is a nightmare. My apartment was infested by the bedbug in the 2rd week after I moved in, and I got hundreds of bug bites within two days. The landlord didn't do a good job for pest control after I reported the bed bug issue. I had no choice but moved out, however, the landlord still kept 2 months rent (1 month rent and deposit) because he claimed I bring the bedbug, and I break the lease.

I lived in a unit on 657 Escuela Ave for less than 1 year. The bed bug is a consistent issue. Most of units in the building have been infested by bed bugs during our tenancy. The infestation happens periodically. During that time, lots of pillows, mattress, box spring thrown from infested units were accumulated in the trash area. The manager tried to use some secret spray to fix the issue by himself, which doesn't work quite well.
