I have lived here 1 year and have zero complaints. It is very quiet, the staff is extremely accommodating if necessary repairs are needed etc. A wonderful place to live.

Poor communication with management

Just like other management around the area, as soon as you reach out to see if a unit is available, someone will contact if you're lucky and give you the application. Tell you that they need the ridiculous application fee before they can even process your application amongst other things. So even if you do all of this within 24hrs, the very same unit you were pushing to get will be rented out no matter if you paid all the fees or not. It is like that both here and everywhere else. Its like COVID ...

I feel very happy living here. I am 22, going to school and working from home. This apartment is the perfect size, location and price for anyone. I am able to communicate with the site manager Angie and she is just sweet as pie, which is why I like to bring the employees a pecan pie from their favorite place. It’s easy to make this place a home. I plan on staying here until I’m able to buy my first house.

Hot water heater broke last night. No response from maintenance. Called the emergency line several times. Nothing gets fixed in this apartment until it doesn't work anymore. If then. The rent increases every year. The staff barely keeps the place going. Don't bother moving in here even though the rent is low. It is not worth the frustration you will experience living here.

We are very sorry for your recent experience with the delayed response from maintenance in regards to your hot water heater Friday night. A member of maintenance did respond the following morning, within 24 hours of your first call. We had the water extracted as needed, purchased a new hot water heater and installed it that same morning. While we understand this was a frustrating inconvenience, mistakes happen. As for your statement “nothing gets fixed in this apartment until it doesn’t work anymore. If then.” this is the purpose of residents placing service requests for maintenance. We do not replace items that are in working condition and we would not be aware of failing items until residents report them to us. Yes, rents increase every year. The cost of property taxes, insurance, general repairs and maintenance rise every year therefore, rents must increase to cover these costs. You will experience this rise in rent in any rental community. We are sorry to read your less than ...

I love living at Canterbury Villas. The apartments are a bit small and dated, but the rent is very reasonable and the community is wonderful. It is pet friendly, very quiet, and there are a lot of long-term residents, which I feel speaks well to a community. Angie, the property manager, is always helpful, and the few maintenance requests I put in were handled quickly and completely. If you are looking for a quiet neighborhood to call home, consider Canterbury Villas.

I only lived a year in Canterbury but if I had not moved out of state I would stay for a while. The Manager is knowlegeble professional, courteous. friendly and down to earth. Angie your the best. The only complaint is no complaint.

Ive been here since 2013 and I would never go anywhere else. Every time there is an issue , maintenance is on the ball fixing it. The grounds itself could use some more pretty colors but overall its a great place to live. There is a laundry facility and pool on the premises and the neighbors have been wonderful. Definitely would and have recommended!

I moved in less than a year ago and found that this community was very calm and easy going. When I submit maintenance requests, they are dealt with promptly and correctly. The value of the 'Villa' unit I rent is well worth the money with the easy access community pool, washer and dryer rooms, and mail boxes.

I lived at Canterbury for 3 years. I loved it. The one story Villa was awesome and really liked being able to park my car almost out my front door. No stairs to climb! They are affordable and the people who lived near me were very nice and friendly. It was quiet and I loved going to the pool. I didn't need alot of amenities which I wouldn't use and have to pay alot extra for. The staff were on top of things. And maintenance took care of my service request quickly. If someday I move back ...
to Florida I will definitely come back.

The complex is old, poorly maintained, bad parking, repairs and maintenance issues are dealt w/ at a glacial pace and poorly executed, no access to tennis court/club house although rent is increased yearly, also...the "manager" believes since other apts in the area are more expensive the increase is justified...NO those properties have much more amenities and/or a utility/service (ie water/cable) included.
