I thoroughly enjoyed living at this complex for 2 years. Between management and maintenance, everything was run smoothly and professionally. I would highly recommend living here if you’re looking for a quiet, updated community that is 10-15 minutes from anything. Impressively, they take very good care of the landscaping and recently upgraded the gym space with new equipment. Thankful for a wonderful living experience.

I'm so glad I chose to lease here! The apartments are beautiful and the location is amazing. Super close to downtown and all the fun things to do in Austin, but tucked away among the hills and trees. It's quiet and peaceful - I love it!

The good: Community is in a really nice, quiet location. You can actually hear the birds singing instead of road noise. Rent prices have gone up a bit, but I think it's still one of the best options in the area. The apartments are nicely renovated and well maintained. There's a creek running through the property with deer and other animals walking around. Maintenance staff is on it and the office team is full of genuinely kind people. The not so good: The amenities leave something to be desired. ...
The pool and gym are both on the smaller side but they get the job done. They just got brand new gym equipment which made the space a lot better. The dog park is not what I would call a dog park, but there is a pedestrian gate so you can take your dogs for walks in the neighborhood and also a small hiking trail that leads down to the creek. It's very serene (that really belongs in the "good" column). This isn't really the property's fault but definitely keep an eye on your packages because delivery people often leave them on the ground instead of putting them in the lockers (this has happened everywhere I've lived though). If you've ordered something, know when it's arriving and pick it up as quickly as possible. I still give it 5 stars!

Normally I wouldn’t write a review for an apartment tour but I visited Canyon Resort recently and Andrea made it such a great experience, I wanted to give a shout out. The property was beautiful, staff was friendly, and Andrea was super knowledgeable. She made it a really fun, informative tour. We even stopped to watch a baby deer!

Similar to others, I have mixed reviews about this place, but mostly negative. Yes, the apartment complex itself is in a nice area, but thats about it. If you have a car that you care about, do NOT move here. The Management here may be the MOST incompetent I have ever come across in 30+ years. There is ALWAYS something major happening on the property. If it isnt Tree trimming that last for 2+months (the worst) or them doing Roof repairs, then its something else. They will literally chop down a ...
tree ON your car and not blink an eye. There isnt a day that passes where this property isnt crawling with Third Party workers workin on something. If you work at home or you want peace or you care about your property (car)...Do NOT MOVE HERE!!

Canyon Resort Great Hills provides a safe, tranquil environment. We have been residents for over a year. It is nestled in a cove with beautiful views of nature and walking areas. Our apartment has modern features in every space: kitchen, flooring, closets and bathroom. I've lived at Canyon Resort for several years and have had a consistently positive experience. Olivia has been incredibly helpful and attentive throughout my time here, and Greg is an outstanding property manager who truly cares about the residents. The community is well-maintained, and the staff is responsive and professional. I'm only relocating due to a work opportunity, but I highly recommend Canyon Resort to anyone looking for a reliable and welcoming place to live.
