No solution for noisy neighbors

My family and I have lived in this building for almost seven years. The location is great and packages are handled safely, which we genuinely appreciated for a long time.
Unfortunately, the last two years have been extremely difficult because of the constant impact noise from the unit above us. The upstairs neighbor walks around in hard-soled heels throughout the day and late into the night. The sound is sharp and repetitive and carries straight through the ceiling, like someone pacing on a stage ...
above your head.
We have politely appealed to the neighbor more than once, hoping for some basic consideration, but it has brought little lasting change. Each time we contact building management, the noise stops briefly and then gradually returns.
The noise is so intense that even a simple phone recording clearly captures how bad it is. Living with this day after day is incredibly hard. Sleep gets interrupted, evenings are tense, and your own home stops feeling like a place where you can rest.
It is disappointing because the building does have positives. But after two years of this exhausting cycle, we are simply worn out and looking forward to moving to a new home. If you happen to get a noisy upstairs neighbor here, be aware that it can seriously affect your sleep, comfort, and peace of mind.
