July 20, 2015We love queens & we loved LIC. Our last apt on Crescent St. was sweet! Doorman, gym, cold room to store your grocery deliveries, roof access via elevator to watch the fireworks. It was awesome like bacon. When our son was born, however, we realized the only amenity we needed more "green space" at a reasonable rent. Forest Hills was the answer. We're close to the E/F line which are express into NYC, though truth told we're closer to the 67th Ave local line. We're right in the middle of 3 ...parks, and technically 4 if you're in the mood for a long walk. The building is great. It's a property where people buy units & we're renting directly from an owner of the apt. As such, everyone in the building truly cares about it & the people who live in it. There are lots of very nice families in the building & we even got pediatrician recommendations. It really feels like we have a little community! We made the right choice.
