I loved living here, out of the other places I lived in Royal Oak, you won’t beat the price, pool, & parking.
Pros: Location, Free Heat & Water, Free Parking, Pool, 3 Door walls, Quiet, Gas Stove, Quiet
Cons: No online bill pay, small dumpster, single washer/dryer for 10 units.
Even though this is the first apartment that I lived in that I did not get my entire security deposit back. The lease is noticeably clear about how the unit should look when you move out. I had a few 3M strips that did ...
not come off cleanly and a blind that kept falling out of the vertical blinds. Really no big deal.

WARNING: When you move out take pictures, cause the landlords will try to keep your entire deposit, I took them to small claims court after taking pictures and got almost my entire deposit back, it only costs 40 dollars to sue them and I would recommend it of you believe your deposit has been taken unfairly, also make sure to know your rights as a renter.
I reiterate every complaint on here was exactly my experience.
Fun facts:
1) Landlords will let themselves into your apartment unannounced I ...
had a neighbor (woman) very scared after the male landlord came in while she was showering.
2) I bought a house after this because I never wanted to deal with landlords as bad as this again.
3) I have rented and lived in 21 different apartments due to school and work relocations, this is by far the worst place I had ever stayed.
