In the heart of VCU's Monroe Park campus, at the corner of Cary and Belvidere Streets, our apartments are 30 seconds from the VCU Engineering and Business schools, 2 minutes from the VCU Cary St Gym, and 1 block from Monroe Park. Be in the middle of campus with all the amenities of off-campus housing. All utilities are included. Our apartments have windows and lots of natural light, spacious layouts, and a full-sized washer and dryer in every unit. They feature dishwashers, full-sized ranges, above-range microwaves, refrigerators with ice makers, in-sink garbage disposals, ceiling fans, and separate full bathrooms for each bedroom. Amazing apartment near VCU
January 15, 2026This apartment is great. It is a good size with an in unit washer & dryer. I feel safe living here. Management is on site to handle any issues and maintenance responds to requests in a timely matter. The apartment is quiet and close to VCU. The hallways and open areas are vacuumed and cleaned regularly.Review from Apartments.com
Good enough but not great
July 23, 2024This is a review for Phase One. I lived here for one year and the apartment itself was nice. Spacious rooms, natural night, laundry unit was appreciated, and the location was good. However, we did not appreciate how difficult it was to reach the management most of the times. When we did reach them, their texts were dry and often unhelpful. Phase One also did not have an elevator that was not posted on their listings and we did not find out until we moved in. Having to go all the way downstairs ...to let guests in was a hassle. Loved living here!
May 9, 2020I lived in several apartments/houses near VCU as a student and lived here my senior year. Honestly I wish I found this place during my freshman year because I would have loved to live here longer. The rooms and closets are very spacious and clean and having an in-house laundry/dryer is rarity downtown. They are very proactive with pest control and we never had any pests the time living here. The only real thing to improve however, is that maintenance does not usually respond on weekends or after ...hours because there was not maintenance on call. There is only an email option. After management changes in 2018-19, it was hard to find management in their office as well. It is also a bit more expensive than other options around VCU, but I think it's well worth it.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
