Dear god do not move here unless you have no other choice
August 24, 2025Roaches, black mold filled dishwasher for 2 years now. Verbatim from the maintenance manager “I’m gonna be honest with you if the dishwasher works then we won’t replace it”. Last time I check appliances are suppose to function as intended as in actually clean the dishes. When the dishwasher is on the air smells extremely putrid from mold and mildew. Honestly if you AQT the air when it’s running I’m pretty sure it would be toxic. Tubs still and never will be resurfaced at this point. Still a hole ...in the ceiling in my second bathroom from a leak. The front desk and all management are completely useless and condescending. I have so many more things wrong in this unit it would be a whole day before I finished. Maintenance never even comes out when you have an issue and instead marks your work orders complete continuously and never truly resolves an issue. All around worst place to live and unfortunately they take advantage of people who can’t afford to live elsewhere and they know it. DO NOT MOVE HERE. YOU WILL ABSOLUTELY REGRET IT.IF I COULD RATE NEGATIVE STARS THEY WOULD HAVE THEM ALL.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
DOESNT LIKE TO FIX ANYTHING
July 23, 2025I’ve been living with mildew for months spend more money to kill it and to kill gnats and roaches ! Anytime I ask for help I get a rude comment back. Or agent hangs up in your face when trying to get help. I was late on rent. Made a promise to pay , I explained how I been having problems and the first response was “pay the rest of your rent first” HEALTH DEPARTMENT NEEDS TO COME SEE ABOUT THESE CONDITIONS !Review from Apartments.com
Frustrated
February 9, 2024Been here for 4 years constant water shut offs. Went from good to medium now worst poor water pressure and dirty rusted water .Hot water gets cut off every other day for years. My mailbox got broken into in Sept. still is broken i lost my medical insurance. Due to not getting my mail plenty more issues I have documented .Management no where to be found. Ok starting apartments
August 9, 2021This apartment complex has changed for the better due to new management. We have security guards 24/7, 365. It's not the best apartments, but it's also not the worse. If you are new to Houston or just looking for your first apartment, Casa del Mar is the place to be. It's affordable and located on a major street. Everything is either in walking distance or you can ride the bus. I would suggest that no one lives by the back gate. It's a lot of traffic and a lot of homeless individuals due to the ...gas station being right next door.Property Manager Responded

January 14, 2021Today I came to look for a apartment and I was greeted with very good customer service. I met the manager Rebecca and she was very help full and she showed me a 2x2 town home I was very happy with the service and I think I will come back to lease a unit. Don’t move here or waste ur money.
September 10, 2019I’m not giving them no stars at all. Poor customer service, rude and don’t fix anything. This month I will be moving and not re-newing my lease. This was my first apartment and had the worst experience ever. It’s roach invested, mole, and the water is brown and the sewer is always backed up. It takes them weeks or after u pay your rent in full to come fix stuff in your apartment. It’s not worth moving here. They will say anything to get u to move in the apartments & after u move in they treat u ...messed up. The things that was wrong in my apartment they never fix. Example: my apartment doesn’t get cold in the bedroom, mole above my shower wall, my toilet wobbles when I sit on it, my window got broke and it took them a month to fix it ( after I paid my rent ), my bedroom ceiling was leaking and had holes in it. The washing facility is dirty and nasty. You don’t know what washer or dryer work or don’t work. If u call and report something they seem like they don’t care. The security guard doesn’t do his job or monitor the apartments like he should. I feel unsafe and the police/ambulance is always in the apartments. And since my lease up at the end of this month they trying to come and fix things in my apartment and trying to convince me to stay or cut me a deal.Property Manager Responded
