Leasing Office
August 30, 2025I had a tour scheduled for 8/7 after a week of back-and-forth communication with an agent named Jeff. Upon arrival, a staff member named Juan let Jeff know I had arrived by saying, “Your appointment is here.” What happened next was truly unacceptable. Jeff, in front of everyone, snapped: “I don’t care who takes who, just take him on the tour.” There was an immediate pause in the room. Juan and a woman seated in the office exchanged a look of disbelief — one of those silent reactions you only give ...when something deeply inappropriate just happened. While they later claimed, “He’s not usually like this,” their faces told a different story. This felt like something they’ve had to sit through before. Juan took me on the tour, I tried to let it go. The property is beautiful, and I stayed open-minded. But today 8-29 , I called back with a simple question about availability. Jeff picked up the phone. When I asked for Juan, I was told he wasn’t in. I then asked a basic leasing question — what units were currently available — and Jeff outright refused to answer. He repeated “Juan will call you back” multiple times and shut down the conversation completely. Then came the breaking point, I came in to the office again and he was alone, and I let him know about my uncomfortableness with the previous interactions — he let out a smug, corny little laugh. Not the kind that eases tension. The kind that makes you feel like the punchline to someone else’s private joke. And was told to email the manager This isn’t just poor service. It’s a pattern of behavior from someone who clearly has no regard for professionalism or people. I will not be signing here. Not because the property isn’t worth it — but because no resident deserves to deal with someone like this before they even move in. I’m asking for someone from corporate — not office staff — to contact me directly. If this is how your front-line employee treats potential renters, imagine how current residents are being treated. This is a stain on your brand. Fix it.Property Manager Responded
