It’s fine for a first apartment
January 5, 2025Within the first 3 months of renting- apartment flooded due to maintenance messing something up, cockroaches, old tree falls on my car, weird note telling me someone thinks I’m attractive and watches me when I go to and from my car, maintenance while trying to fix the water problem breaks the floor and still hasn’t fixed it (it’s been over a year) the emergency maintenance line took us an hour to find, we also got the “landlord special” of the electricity box being painted over so much so we had ...to pry it open and spiders roaches and stickers just being painted over and now stuck in the wall . More recently though they booted my car twice for not having a parking pass (I did) the mailboxes were broken into and still haven’t been fixed (it’s been since October) and the front office closes early very frequently. HOWEVER the staff are very kind and forgiving people! They’re willing to accommodate most anything and paid for my car boot one of the times. The pool is nice, neighbors are nice, and it’s nearby a lot of things. For my first apartment it’s fine, it helped me know what I do and don’t want in an apartment. I would rate it lower if I could
October 12, 2020I would rate them lower if I could. They turned off my building’s water without telling us because of a clogged drain. It has now been off for TWENTY FOUR HOURS. They are so cheap that instead of paying a plumber they’ve been using their handymen who are clearly not trained in plumbing, and now it’s been a day. In fact, they sent the plumber home last night because they didn’t want to pay the overtime rate. These people do not care about their tenants or their job. I wasn’t able to have a shower ...yesterday, I haven’t been able to have one today. I don’t even have drinking water, I had to go to the store for that all while I am actively paying for water that is turned off. Horrible, dirty and unprofessional

Don’t live here
April 17, 2019Castle gate apartments is not a good place to live you will live un healthy their has been multiple things found in buildings to mold, cockroaches, and bed bugs and who else knows what . My apartment has mold growing the other side of our living room wall and coming to to our apartment we have 3 other types of mold in our house and their all mixing together in the air witch is the worst mold. My family and my self (daughter) is not living healthy I have been having multiple asthma attacks witch I ...haven't had one for 2 years. They have not fixed anything when we have told them multiple times they have fixed one mold problem but all they know how to do here is put a bandage over things and call it good. August 8, 2015We have lived here since May 2015, and so far the neighbors and apartment has been nice. However, there are definitely some things I would change such as the smells in the hall, fix all the holes in the parking lots, I experienced a popped tire because of it. I understand it's a big property but when you make a work order in May and still haven't heard anything back in 3 months well that's a little frustrating.
