February 29, 2020I was quoted one price for rent , but as the months past my rent has continuously went up . I wasn't inform that we had to pay water until I signed my lease . I don't like how the apartment complex is open , the staff calls it "an open community" but people are walking throughout the complex all hours of the nights , the parking is limited at night and you have to park on the side , my neighbors car was hit . My bathtub is peeling & the water takes forever to go out . Residents who have moved in ...after me have now moved out breaking their lease . It's just not worth it . You can go somewhere and pay way less with more amenities . I wouldn't recommend anyone to more here !Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Horrible!
January 3, 2019The property manager of Cedarwood, Janell, is the most incompetent manager I have had the displeasure of dealing with. From my last negative post, things seemed to get better so I decided to renew my lease. Shortly after, my ceiling started leaking rain water even though I'm in downstairs unit! It took them 3 weeks to fix it. Then recently their website to pay rent was down so I filled out a check in front of a person that works there and asked her to make sure it was correct. She said it was and ...I didn't find out a week later that they denied it due to no signature. They didn't bother to email me nor leave a voicemail even though Janell claims she did. So now I'm responsible for a substantial amount of late fees. I can't even trust that she let the regional manager know what's going on because she lied saying she couldn't give their number but I could Google it. If I had known I could get corporates number from Google, I wouldn't have bothered with her. Don't bother moving here or you'll regret it!Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
HORRIBLE
July 27, 2018BY FAR, THE WORST PLACE I'VE EVER LIVED. THE APARTMENT WAS NICE AND CLEANED BUT VERY EXPENSIVE. I MOVED IN AND 4 DAYS LATER I COMPLAINED ABOUT THE A/C NOT WORKING PROPERLY. AFTER 2 MONTHS DURING THE SUMMER AND BEING IN CONSTANT HEAT I BECAME FRUSTRATED WITH THE COMPLEX. I CALLED EVERY WEEK FOR 2 MONTHS AND NOTHING WAS DONE. I WAS TOLD CONSTANTLY SOMEONE WILL COME AND CHECK THE UNIT. EACH TIME THEY CAME OUT I WAS TOLD THEY WERE TRYING TO SEE WHAT COULD BE DONE. FINALLY I GAVE THEM A NOTICE TO ...VACATE AND ASKED FOR THE PROPERTY MANAGEMENT NUMBER BUT THEY REFUSED TO GIVE IT TO ME. PLEASE DO NOT MOVE THERE!!!! IT IS HORRIBLE!!!! May 11, 2018Spend your money else where! Maintenance is not a priority for them. I went two months with mold and incomplete floor work in my apartment after numerous calls! With absolutely NO comusation for the work the maintenance men never completed! not to mention they are unprofessional and the neighborhood is not that great at all!Review from Apartments.com
TERRIBLE
November 10, 2017There's NO living room light. How do you have an apartment with no living room light? My ceiling has a hole in it from water damage. Told maintenance AND staff nothing was done. The air conditioner doesn't even work in one of the rooms. The window has to stay open just so that 2nd story bedroom can kind of stay cool. There is MOLD in my downstairs closet. Told maintenance AND office staff, nothing was done. I try to keep clothes away from the mold. The walls are THIN! The pool is literally open ...to ANYONE there are people who don't even stay at the complex, but use the pool. Summer time is the WORSE. Loud music all hours of the night, parties, and wild children screaming in the parking lot. Speaking of parking lot there's RARELY any parking left if you come back home after 10pm. Some people have 3-4 cars and only drive 1 or 2, so their cars just sit and take up space. The maintenance man parks at an angle EVERYTIME he parks his beat-up red pickup, so of course he takes up 2 spaces, when parking is limited. Trash will pile up on the dumpster for DAYS before anything is done. Your water bill is based on the whole apartment complex and sometimes the pipes to the pool are LEAKING! It'll leak for hours on in before anything is done, so you can just imagine how that adds to your water bill. Roaches are EVERYWHERE. Please do not move here!
